General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 15, reveals that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) brought Ava Jerome (Maura West) divorce papers and a financial settlement offer at the gallery.

Ava didn’t understand what changed, so Nikolas finally claimed he’d had an affair with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and that she was pregnant with his baby.

Nikolas refused to go into the details, but he hoped Ava understood that he had to do right by his child.

Ava eventually grabbed a letter opener and jabbed it into the wall to tell Nik what she thought of his offer.

Since Ava barely missed Nikolas, he said she could’ve killed him. Ava thought Nikolas would do well to remember that and hinted about God having mercy on his soul since he’d get none from her.

Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) told Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about the blackmail situation and all the Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) red flags, but Sam thought she was doing the right thing by taking a step back and reevaluating.

Next, Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) drew his weapon and fired once he faced “The Hook.” Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was outside the apartment and called for backup since shots had been fired.

Dante then burst through the door and saw that a burly man – presumably the snake smuggler – was dead on the floor.

Rory then stumbled into view after having been hooked and was bleeding from the mouth due to his internal injuries.

In Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) office, she let Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) know that Rory’s shift was over and invited her to wait since she assumed he was just wrapping up paperwork.

Jordan thought Rory would be happy to see her, but Trina muttered “not for long” and decided to catch up with him elsewhere.

Once Jordan received news about Rory, she called Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to find Trina and pick her up since “The Hook” was back at it.

When the call came in, Curtis was speaking to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) belief that “The Hook” was someone besides Esme Prince (Avery Pohl).

Curtis also suspected that there was a deeper link to discover between Ryan and Esme.

After Jordan made it to the apartment with some officers, she learned “The Hook” had seemingly escaped out a window and called the medical examiner to deal with the smuggler’s dead body.

Since they couldn’t wait for paramedics, Rory was quickly helped out to a car and taken to the hospital.

Alexis also got a 911 text from Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), who was at GH urging Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to reunite with Liz when all the Rory drama played out.

Gregory heard about anti-venom serum being used and filled Alexis in once she arrived.

Over with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she hoped Liz and Finn would RSVP yes to her wedding. Liz assured Portia that she’d be there, but she couldn’t speak for Finn since they’d recently broken up.

Elizabeth also reassured Portia about Esme and was confident that she wouldn’t take another life.

Once Liz joined the team helping Rory in the trauma room, she worried about wasting the anti-venom serum since they didn’t have all the facts and it was in short supply.

Finn urged Liz to administer it anyway since the poison would kill Rory if his injuries didn’t.

At Kelly’s, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) ripped into Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) for punching Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), especially when he just got out of prison.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also chewed Spencer out and acted like Dex didn’t have to leave, but Dex snapped at her and took off.

Once Dex made it to the boxing gym, he took his frustration out on the punching bag and flashed back to romantic moments with Josslyn.

Over with Spencer again, he insisted he’d been standing up for Cameron and felt he was ungrateful.

Spencer ran into Trina outside Kelly’s soon after and had his usual self-loathing attitude.

Trina was taken aback to learn Spencer planned to leave Port Charles and didn’t think he should bail on his loved ones.

However, Spencer thought he had to accept he’d never get what he wanted – that he’d never know what it felt like to matter so much to someone that they’d hurt when he was gone.

Curtis interrupted, so he went inside along with Trina and Spencer.

Once they were all gathered, Curtis admitted there’d been another attack and revealed that Rory was the latest victim.

At GH, Trina found Portia and pushed for updates on Rory’s condition.

Portia didn’t have anything good to report since Rory had lost a lot of blood and the doctors were still working on him.

When Rory was wheeled over to the elevator, Trina rushed to his side.

Rory took off his oxygen mask to admit he knew it was too soon to tell Trina how he felt, but he wasn’t sorry.

After Rory said that “when you know, you know,” he lost consciousness again and began coding as Trina cried out.

General Hospital spoilers say Trina’s nightmare is only going to get worse from here, so stay tuned.
