General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, February 24, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have an invitation for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) tries to repay Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) trap will also help Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
GH fans know Sonny left Nina a drunk voicemail before deciding to drive himself back to the penthouse.
Luckily, Nina showed up to stop Sonny from driving under the influence.
On Thursday, Nina will smile as she says they have to stop meeting like this.
Nina willl offer support as Sonny copes with his impending divorce, so Sonny will enjoy feeling close to Nina again.
It looks like Nina might camp out at Sonny’s place – just to make sure he’s OK.
Nina may try to leave once day breaks, but Sonny will apparently invite her to stick around based on Thursday’s preview video.
Nevertheless, Nina may choose to leave anyway, especially since it appears she’ll reach out to Carly soon.
In the meantime, it’ll be Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) who comes to Carly’s office after being summoned.
After Carly reveals that a divorce is happening, she may hope that Ava will put Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) needs first.
Carly may advise against sparking a custody war that’ll just make things more difficult for Avery.
Talk will also turn to Nina, so Carly might hint about the revenge plot that’s in store.
Ava may warn that Nina shouldn’t be underestimated, but Carly won’t be concerned about Sonny’s “flavor of the month.”
At GH, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will tell Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to keep an eye out.
Portia will wonder what she’s supposed to be watching for, so Stella may think it’s best to stay on guard – just in case Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) past comes back to haunt.
Then again, Stella might simply feel like trouble is always around the corner, particularly when a relationship is going well!
Curtis and Portia are looking forward to a new chapter living together, so Stella may worry a hurdle could hit.
As for Marshall, he’ll find himself worrying that he went too far.
Marshall will keep trying to juggle his desire to bond with Curtis with his desire to keep his history buried.
It’s that history that’ll continue to be a problem for Curtis, who’ll open up to Drew about his concerns.
Drew will insist that Curtis should just say the word and he’ll put his plan in play.
That plan should be the one Drew previously talked about, which involves tempting Marshall with a job offer to score info about his true identity.
Of course, Drew won’t be the only one back from Switzerland.
After Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) prepare to hand over “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt), Maxie will indeed show up to reunite with her daughter.
However, Maxie will also suggest this is her turn to do something for Chase and Brook Lynn.
Maxie will want to thank them for everything they did to help Louise, so maybe she’ll come up with some transition plan that’ll soften the blow of losing her.
Then again, there’s been a lot of talk about how Louise responds to “Bailey,” so maybe Maxie will decide to keep that name as a way to honor Brook Lynn – like a reminder that “Bailey” will always be connected to her. Bailey Jones has a nice ring to it!
Regardless, Brook Lynn and Chase will still be able to spend plenty of time with the baby, so Maxie will do her best to make this a little less painful.
Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will lash out when Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) tries to congratulate her on letting Peter August (Wes Ramsey) die.
Anna will tearfully declare that it’s not something she’s proud of, so she’ll get some comfort over doing what she had to do.
