General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, February 24 Update – Carly & Ava Custody Drama – Anna’s Guilty Outburst

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, February 24, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) may have some custody drama to discuss while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has a guilty outburst. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will also fear danger as he ponders the past, so there’ll be some shockers and shakeups happening across Port Charles.

For starters, Carly will summon Ava to her office. It won’t be long until Ava arrives and gets updates on Carly’s divorce from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so she won’t be too surprised under the circumstances.

Ava also won’t be surprised if Carly starts barking orders about Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

Ava might remind Carly of who Avery’s true mother is and rant about the emotional turmoil her little girl will face thanks to “CarSon.”

Ava may point out that Avery would have more stability living primarily at Windemere, but Carly won’t want this to turn into some big custody war.

Carly may push Ava to leave things the way they are and accept that Avery will mostly be living at the penthouse now.

Although Ava has considered using Sonny’s marriage blowup to her advantage, she may back down on that for Avery’s sake.

Ava might also relent on Carly getting time with Avery, but she may point out that there could be a new stepmom in the picture eventually.

However, it looks like Carly will insult Nina as Sonny’s “flavor of the month.”

Carly may suggest she could have Sonny back with a snap of her fingers if she wanted him, but she’s ready to move on – at least for now!

As for Nina, she’ll take care of Sonny while he’s drunk and apparently prepare to leave in the morning.

Sonny won’t see why Nina has to rush off, especially once he starts to sober up.

Nina would no doubt like another steamy romp with Sonny, but she may walk away on other plans.

Since Carly is set to get another visitor soon, Nina might drop by with a few things to get off her chest.

Over with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), they’ll get ready for another heartbreaking handoff.

Brook Lynn was a mess after giving “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), but she got a little more time with “Bailey” after Felicia brought her back.

Nevertheless, Brook Lynn and Chase’s mission is now complete.

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is dead and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is ready to reclaim her child, so Chase and Brook Lynn will prepare for this bittersweet blow.

When Maxie shows up following her trip home from Switzerland, she’ll have a sweet gesture in mind.

Maxie will want to do something to thank Chase and especially Brook Lynn for taking such good care of her baby girl.

Since Louise is used to going by “Bailey,” Maxie might decide to let the name stick.

Brook Lynn chose that name, so Maxie may suggest it represents the indelible mark BLQ will have on her daughter’s life.

Maxie may contend that Brook Lynn’s sacrifice will never be forgotten – and that’s particularly true if the baby continues to be known as “Bailey.”

Of course, Maxie might also ask Brook Lynn and Chase to be godparents.

Maxie may even work out some sort of visitation plan to make this transition period easier for all of them, including the baby.

Next, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will realize Anna’s having a hard time with her actions.

Anna feels like she did the only thing she could do when it came to Peter. Maxie would never know peace if Peter lived, even if he landed behind bars.

Peter had to die, so that meant Anna had to let him. Despite Robert’s desire to give Anna a pat on the back, she’ll take no pleasure in Peter’s fate.

Anna will have a weepy meltdown as she deals with all this, but Robert will try to alleviate her guilt.

Peter deserved what he got and put himself in that position, so Anna truly isn’t to blame.

Other GH spoilers say Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will battle some worries about crossing the line.

Marshall will keep fighting for a relationship with Curtis, but he’s still being cryptic about his past – one that could still come back to haunt if Marshall doesn’t play this just right.

Curtis will struggle with dangerous fears of his own, so Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will remind him that they discussed a helpful plan.

Drew mentioned the idea of dangling an irresistible job and scoring Marshall’s social security number or other type of identifying info.

Even if that info is fake, Drew feels like it could offer a trail to follow.

Drew will be willing to move forward with his scheme if Curtis gives him the green light – and it looks like Curtis will indeed accept the favor.

Finally, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will have a warning to pass along.

Stella will intrigue Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), who’ll ask what she’s supposed to be keeping an eye out for.

Stella’s concerns might relate to Marshall or perhaps just drama in general.

Now that Portia and Curtis are getting more serious, Stella might warn about the obstacles they’ll have to conquer.

One of those obstacles will inevitably be Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) return since it’s indeed coming up soon!

General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Portia’s relationship will indeed be put to the test in the months ahead, so stay tuned.
