General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, February 3 Recap – Spencer & Trina’s Kiss - Dante Alarmed Over Peter Prison Van Sabotage

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 3, reveals that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was alarmed over some Peter August (Wes Ramsey) prison van sabotage while Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) kiss was derailed. Let’s talk about how all Thursday’s GH action went down.

At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) apartment, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was on babysitting duty when Sam McCall (Lindsay Hartley) arrived looking for guidance.

Sam certainly had feelings for Dante, but Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) return had brought up a lot of feelings for her, too.

Spinelli did his best to help Sam work through the mess as they played videogames.

Spinelli pointed out that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return ended her previous relationship with Drew, but now Drew’s comeback offered another chance with him.

At Charlie’s Pub, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) spotted Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) near the bar and thanked her for her discretion following his recent crisis.

Sonny also got grilled by Phyllis Caufield (Joyce Guy) since Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had hinted about some troubles to her.

Sonny acknowledged that he’d gone off his meds, but he acted like everything was fine now.

Although Phyllis urged him to open up to Carly about what happened, Sonny didn’t want that to be the reason Carly came back to him.

Drew joined Britt and admitted he got on Sonny’s bad side recently because he wasn’t his brother.

Britt and Drew discussed Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) briefly before talk turned to their love lives.

Although Drew wasn’t one to poach, Britt basically acted like Sam wasn’t in too deep with Dante yet and urged Drew to think about what he wanted.

Sonny also bought Drew a drink and offered him an apology for his behavior the other night, so they were able to patch things up.

Back at the bar, Phyllis met Britt and learned she once shared a brother with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Although Britt acknowledged she wasn’t exactly besties with Nina, Phyllis was pleased to know they had some form of a friendship.

At Kelly’s, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was impatient for Spencer’s return.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) clashed with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) briefly, but he seemed to be in a hurry to take off.

While Victor phoned someone and pushed for updates as soon as the package arrived, Laura warned Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) that Victor’s connections came at a heavy cost. There were more concerns about where Spencer was since he was due to report to Spring Ridge soon.

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) arrived and took great pleasure in telling Esme that Spencer was with Trina.

At the gallery, Spencer had so much to tell Trina and apologized for Esme manipulating the situation at the cabin.

However, Spencer admitted Esme was there for him when he was away at school.

Esme helped Spencer feel like he mattered, but Trina argued Spencer didn’t need someone else to make him feel that way.

Spencer talked about how he wanted to say goodbye to the people who mattered to him. He took Trina’s hands and moved in close like he was about to kiss her.

Esme watched nearby and made a commotion – pretending she hadn’t seen and interrupting what could’ve been a steamy smooch.

After Esme took some jabs at Trina over what happened at the cabin, Laura arrived along with Nikolas and Ava.

Spencer and Nikolas shared a moment of hope for repairing their relationship, but then it was time for Laura to take Spencer away to begin his 30-day stint.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) exclaimed over his moment of realization, but he covered his blunder and managed to get rid of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

That left Austin to confront Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) about scheming with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to hide her baby.

Austin lashed out at first, but he eventually calmed down and was more understanding about her keeping this from him. After all, Austin was just a stranger in the woods.

Maxie pointed out that Austin wasn’t a stranger anymore and acknowledged that she knew a lot of things she didn’t know before.

Maxie pulled Austin close and got swept up in a sizzling kiss with him.

At GH, Peter taunted Dante and acted like he’d go by the law no matter what. Dante argued that Peter had no idea who he was as he offered a veiled threat.

Dante was adamant about Peter being locked up for a long time, but Peter didn’t seem as convinced.

Peter tried to rattle Anna briefly before Dante and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) took him on the transport van.

As they drove along, they realized another car had gone off the road due to black ice, but Mac called it in since they had to focus on their Peter mission.

Mac urged the driver to pick up the pace and make up for lost time, but he wound up skidding off the road.

When Dante got out to investigate with Mac, he realized all four tires were flat after being punctured.

Dante and Mac drew their guns – bracing for more danger since the van had clearly been sabotaged.

Back with Victor, he received a phone call about the package arriving on time as expected.

General Hospital spoilers say Peter’s getaway will bring plenty more drama, so stay tuned.
