General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, January 27 Recap – Drugged Trina Confesses – Peter Learns Bailey Truth – Maxie Kisses Austin

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 27, reveals that drugged Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) made a confession while Peter August (Wes Ramsey) learned the “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt). Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) also kissed Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), so here’s how all the action went down.

At GH, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) told Peter that his daughter had been living in plain sight all this time.

Victor revealed that Louise August had been living as “Bailey” and had a nice life with the Quartermaines.

Peter was skeptical, but Victor spelled out all the proof – including the fact that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) had no prenatal care in the area other than that sonogram, which was under Maxie’s patient ID number.

Peter eventually realized Brook Lynn was never pregnant and that Maxie had gone to great lengths to dupe him.

Peter was upset since he truly thought Maxie loved him, but she made him suffer in the worst way possible.

Peter decided Maxie would have to pay for her betrayal and warned Victor that their deal would have to be revised.

Peter refused to offer up the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) information until he got a real reunion with his daughter, so he pushed Victor to figure something out – and fast!

In Pautauk, Maxie was upset when Austin mentioned the plan that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) told him about to fake Louise’s death.

Maxie overreacted at the mention of Brook Lynn’s name as well and insisted this had nothing to do with her.

Maxie pretended she was willing to come clean and acted like she must’ve had an imaginary conversation with Britt.

Austin was still confused and obsessed with figuring out who the other voice was, but Maxie ultimately planted a kiss and distracted him.

After they pulled apart, Austin admitted that was nice and hoped Maxie thought so, too.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) came along and thought she was interrupting something, but Austin ultimately acted like maybe he was just misremembering things due to all the bad memories there.

At Kelly’s, it finally dawned on Valentin Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) that Maxie’s baby was the one Brook Lynn passed off as her own.

Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) wasn’t as convinced, but Valentin felt certain “Bailey” was Louise – and that meant Peter was her father.

Valentin acknowledged the fact that Peter was Martin’s client now, but Martin acted like it was ridiculous to think he’d endanger a child.

Valentin made it clear that he was trusting Martin to keep this news to himself and dashed off to gather more proof.

Once Valentin made it to the hospital, he talked to Yuri and Monica about “Bailey,” Brook Lynn and the very maternal Maxie.

Monica admitted she was concerned at one point that Maxie might have a break with reality and think of “Bailey” as her own baby.

Valentin then turned his attention to the nurse at the desk. He wanted to “Bailey’s” medical records as her legal father, but Victor looked uneasy as he witnessed this interaction.

Back with Monica, she stopped by Peter’s room to let him know she couldn’t wait to see him locked up again.

In the yoga studio, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) wasn’t interested in Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) perspective on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

They were interrupted by the arrival of Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), who was overly cheerful over work and acted like everything was fine.

Nina wanted to be sure Sasha was taking some personal time as well and mentioned how she knew the loss of a child like Carly.

However, Carly wanted to speak with Sasha alone. She tried to give Sasha a nudge in the direction of truly dealing with her grief and confiding in Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).

Afterward, Nina once again tried to get through to Carly. She insisted Carly was the one Sonny loved and needed, but Carly wasn’t keen on engaging with Nina on the topic of her marriage.

Back at the hospital, Sonny struggled to sit still in his exam room and wound up in the hall.

Sonny ran into Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), who wanted to make sure Sonny was OK.

Monica and Sonny discussed the loss of Jason before Brando got off the elevator.

Brando admitted to needing help and opened up to Sonny about how much he was struggling over the loss of Liam Corbin.

Brando felt uncertain of what to say to a therapist since he never got to know his son, but Sonny thought it was good that he realized he needed help and was doing something about it.

At the cabin, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) drugged only Trina’s drink before passing out all the hot toddy mugs.

Esme then played a game of Never Have I Ever with Trina, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

That led to trouble as Trina started to seem rather disoriented. Trina got confused and drank on a question about dating a friend, but then she realized she never actually dated Cameron.

Esme quickly stirred the pot, so Joss urged her to get whatever she wanted to say out in the open.

“Never have I ever moved in on my best friend’s crush…drink up, Joss!” Esme blurted out.

Josslyn argued that she made a pact with Trina about no guy coming between them.

Josslyn acted like Trina was OK with her dating Cameron, but Trina wondered what else she was supposed to say.

Trina admitted to missing how things were before – when it was just the three of them and Cameron wasn’t a couple with Josslyn.

After Trina said she didn’t feel so good, she ran into another room and locked herself in.

Trina was on the floor crying and looking sick when Josslyn tried to get her to open the door.

After Trina pushed to be left alone, Josslyn decided Esme wouldn’t get away with this.

Josslyn rejoined the rest of the gang and launched a major showdown by calling Esme a “manipulative little bitch.”

General Hospital spoilers say some exciting moments are still to come as the cabin chaos continues.
