General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, June 16 – Carly Breaks Rules for Drew – Cody’s Poker Game Problem – Nina Confesses to Sonny

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, June 16, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will break the rules for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) while Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) creates a poker game problem. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also confess to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so let’s discuss what’s in store.

At The Savoy, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will blast Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) for making a bigger mess of things.

Although Brook Lynn will make a play to take Linc Brown (Dan Buran) down, her plan will go wrong and leave Chase on cleanup duty.

Chase will warn that Brook Lynn is in a far worse position than she was before, but she’ll insist she had good intentions.

Brook Lynn will obviously face a major setback when it comes to dealing with her Linc issues, but she’ll keep hoping for a path to freedom – both for her songs and herself.

In the meantime, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) will hope the night goes smoothly since she’s just welcomed a very important guest.

Linc is the VIP for the evening, but Cody just blackmailed his way to some quick cash and seems ready to crash the poker game.

Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will end up telling Selina there’s a problem with the game, so Cody may be quite the gambling man.

It’s easy to imagine Cody angering Linc by beating him swiftly and badly – perhaps leading to cheating accusations.

Whatever the case, Selina surely won’t be happy about the disruption and may snap at Brad to fix this.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is already on Selina’s bad side, but now her new love interest seems poised to rile Selina up, too.

Of course, Britt certainly hasn’t warmed up to Cody yet and will continue to wallow in misery for a while.

GH spoilers say Britt will once again find herself facing unwelcome attention, so that GIF could take on other humiliating forms or lead to a tabloid article.

While Britt wonders what she did to deserve this, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will head out on his first official date with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

That’ll bring some intriguing moments in the car as Valentin suggests he can still be of some use.

Valentin and Anna will no doubt have some flying sparks, but we can’t forget that he’s keeping a huge secret from her.

Anna has no idea that Valentin is the French captain she still wants to track down – the one who was caught up in all the framing drama in French Polynesia.

At Charlie’s Pub, Nina will think it’s time for some honesty.

Sonny mentioned Carly making it clear that they were done, so now Nina’s realizing the kiss they just shared was probably more about Carly.

It looks like Nina may admit she understands Carly’s perspective on some level.

Nina will confess to being surprised when Sonny did something, so she may reflect on his decisions in the courtroom and fret over him ruining things with his family.

As for Sonny, he may make it clear that Nina isn’t a consolation prize to him.

Although Sonny may have reacted to Carly’s words somewhat, he’s obviously smitten with Nina and wants to see where things could go between them.

At the Metro Court pool, it seems Carly will catch someone in the water afterhours and insist they’re closed.

Drew will appear all wet and suggest he was hoping the owner could bend the rules for him.

Naturally, Carly will throw those rules right out the window for Drew’s sake and will consider this a lucky encounter.

This will give Carly a chance to vent about her faceoff with Sonny and get some comforting words of wisdom.

At the bar, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will remain in panic mode now that the cops have shown up outside.

Joss and Trina have fake IDs, so this could mean bad news – especially for Trina since she’s in enough legal hot water as it is.

Will Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) be revealed as the officer involved here?

Rory felt the need to go by the book with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), but he might be more willing to cut Josslyn and Trina some slack.

Josslyn will push the cop on duty to bust her and let Trina go, so she’d be in a better position to negotiate if this is indeed Rory.

Maybe Rory will even show he can be a bit of a rule-breaker by choosing to look the other way entirely.

Regardless, Trina and Josslyn will do their best to climb out of the hole they’ve dug for themselves. As other GH details come in, we’ll pass along updates.

General Hospital spoilers say there’ll be several fires to put out on Thursday’s show, so don’t miss all the action.
