General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 2, reveals that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hid in her underwear on the parapet while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) troublemaker past friendship was revealed. Here’s how all the GH drama went down.
At the Metro Court pool, a wet Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) got out of the water and repeatedly demanded the skydiver’s arrest. Dante was stunned to recognize the mystery man as Cody, an old friend from his childhood.
Cody laughed over Dante being a cop now, but Dante slapped some handcuffs on him and wondered if it was still funny. Although Cody protested that it was a paid gig, Dante still felt it was reckless endangerment and said he was taking him down to the station.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) decided to tag along, but they all ended up at Charlie’s Pub instead. Dante claimed he had nearly taken Cody to the PCPD, but he was really just giving his old buddy a hard time.
Soon after, Sam found out about Dante growing up with Cody and getting into trouble with him in their younger years.
Back at the Society Setups mixer, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) defended the skydiving thing as a brilliant marketing idea. Britt also became determined to sue Cody for what happened.
Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), they had a conversation about whether it was better to play it safe or take risks for happily ever after. Chase wound up assuring Brook Lynn that he’d do whatever he could to help get her songs back.
In the park, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) played games with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and looked at a text from Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Joss eventually asked Wiley if he’d like to take a little trip, so they headed over to the courthouse.
In the courtroom, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) joined Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) as she nervously held the DNA results envelope. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) remained glad that visitation hearing was over.
Drew stepped outside the courtroom with Michael and warned him about using ELQ to target Sonny. Michael eventually understood that his battle had to be kept separate and vowed to go after Sonny in other ways.
Back with Carly, she listened to Willow rant about how glad she was to finally be rid of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Carly acted like they should just focus on giving Wiley the best childhood possible now and tucked the envelope away – clearly making the decision to bury the bio mom secret.
In a moment alone with Drew, Carly lied that Nina wasn’t Willow’s mother based on the DNA results. Drew wondered why Harmony Miller (Inga Cadaranel) would say so, but Carly acted like she was just a seriously disturbed woman.
Josslyn also brought Wiley, who was told that Michael and Willow just won a game. There was a celebratory mood as Wiley’s family prepared to move forward without Nina.
At Wyndemere, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) called out to Esme behind the locked door. Since Spencer didn’t get an answer, he tossed Esme’s jacket aside and walked off.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) wasn’t as willing to give up and approached the door, which was opened by a disheveled Nikolas. After Nik lied about falling asleep while reading, he claimed the wind must’ve been to blame for shutting and locking the door.
Ava thought that must’ve been some nap since Nikolas’ hair was all messed up and he’d missed a button. Nikolas seemed nervous and kept trying to get Ava to go elsewhere, but she thought this was the perfect quiet spot to talk.
On the parapet, Esme hid in her underwear and accidentally dropped one of her shoes. The thud got Ava’s attention, but Nikolas suggested it must’ve been bats outside.
Ava talked about her conversation with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and was sorry for threatening to give up on her marriage. After Ava declared she was no quitter, she hoped Nikolas felt the same.
Nikolas acted like he wished Ava had told him before, but she said she was telling him now and thought that should count for something. Once Nikolas said it was everything, he urged Ava to come with him and assured her that she wouldn’t regret it.
When the coast was clear, Esme strutted out and smiled over how wrong Nikolas was. According to Esme, Ava would most certainly regret it – and so would Nikolas.
Downstairs, Cameron showed up and warned that Spencer needed to get his act together. Since Cam was fed up, he made it clear that Spencer needed to make something happen tonight and threatened to tell Josslyn.
Spencer eventually found a dressed Esme, who claimed she’d just been around. While Spencer and Esme prepared to have an intense conversation, Ava grew concerned in the living room with Nikolas.
Nikolas downed a drink and was acting all nervous, so it was starting to scare Ava. In the end, Nikolas acted like he was about to make a big confession.
At Charlie’s Pub again, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) worried about Nina since he hadn’t heard the outcome of the case. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) gave Sonny a pep talk before taking a call from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), who confirmed that Nina lost.
Sonny decided to go searching for Nina and ended up at Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) grave. Although Nina was already gone, Sonny looked around and seemed uneasy.
