General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, June 2, teases that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will escape exposure while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) demands an arrest. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also face some Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) panic when he can’t reach her, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on ABC’s GH.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas and Esme will somehow avoid being busted by Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) – though Spencer may have some suspicious questions for Esme soon enough.
Ava will also take a stand with Nikolas, but she may think back to her conversation with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and ultimately soften toward him a bit.
Guilty Nikolas will insist he needs to tell Ava something, but he’ll chicken out of revealing his hookup with Esme and make up another excuse instead.
Ava and Nikolas seem poised to get their romance back on track, which should set the stage for Esme to blow things up spectacularly down the road.
In the meantime, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will slam Spencer for putting his Esme takedown plan in jeopardy.
Spencer will explain how it all went wrong and get some help from Cam as he works to reel Esme in again.
Even so, Spencer may sense that Esme’s keeping more secrets than ever before.
The goal will be pulling Esme into his trap, clearing Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name and exposing anything else Esme is hiding.
Esme wants to please Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), so she’ll want to ruin Nikolas and Ava’s marriage if she sticks to that plan.
It may just be a matter of playing the waiting game and striking when the time is right.
At the Metro Court pool, there’s a mystery man who inadvertently dragged Britt into the water with him.
Britt will view this as an attack and push Dante to make an arrest, but that might be a little extreme under the circumstances.
However, it turns out Dante knows this mystery guy.
These two go way back and may have some bad blood between them, so that should bring some conflict following that grand entrance.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will corner Dante and push for details on the mystery man, who’s all set to be Britt’s love interest – though it obviously isn’t a case of love at first sight.
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) might encourage Britt to give the parachuting hunk a chance, but she’ll be focused on drying out and sobering up.
Britt may swear off love after this disastrous Society Setups event, but a romantic storyline is indeed in her future.
Over with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), they’ll talk about how rare it is to get a happy ending.
That’s especially true on soaps, but Chase and Brook Lynn could at least have a happy chapter together if they’d surrender to their feelings.
In the courtroom, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have to tell a few lies and hide what’s really in that envelope from the hospital.
Since Carly doesn’t want Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to know Nina is her bio mom, she’ll keep this secret quiet and hope it stays buried forever.
That could get tricky since Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) just arrived and knows about the DNA test Carly ordered.
Nevertheless, Carly will do everything in her power to make sure Nina, Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) stay in the dark.
Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) will also remain out of the loop – though he’s too young to understand anyway.
As Wiley enjoys some time with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in the park, she’ll hint about taking a little trip with him.
That may involve going to another area of the park – one where Wiley might wander too far and land in Nina’s path.
Nina will likely end up in the park as well following her cemetery visit, so it makes sense for Nina to find her grandson.
Could Nina save Wiley from danger? Will Nina get desperate enough to consider running off with Wiley?
Nina is in an incredibly distraught state right now, so we’ll where things go from here.
Regardless, Nina may get accused of trying to snatch Wiley, even if her motives are purely helpful.
There’s going to be some drama once Nina presumably gets caught with Wiley right after getting banned from him entirely.
At Charlie’s Pub, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) may also fear for Nina after word spreads about the visitation hearing outcome.
Sonny may hope Phyllis has seen Nina around, but he may be out of luck.
Phyllis will also help Sonny work through the pain of the past and decide whether it was worth it.
Would Sonny really take a do-over if he could? Would Sonny erase Nixon Falls and all the wonderful memories he made with Nina there?
Sonny may admit that he wouldn’t change most of what he shared with Nina.
They had some special times and could enjoy even more if Sonny kicks off an official romance with Nina soon.
Until then, Sonny may have a moment of panic as he worries about Nina’s next move.
After calling, texting and searching, Sonny might spot Nina holding Wiley in the park later and know this discovery will lead to trouble.
