General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, June 9, tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will push Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to confess while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) spills to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also make waves with an angry drug denial, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
At the gallery, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will mull over the future and discuss some plans with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Of course, Trina will struggle to see much of a future for herself – not with criminal charges hanging over her and threatening to destroy her life.
Trina will fret over her trial as well as the Title IX report at PCU, but Joss will remind her that they don’t know what the determination is going to be.
Josslyn will try to stay positive and will encourage Trina to do the same.
Once Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) shows up, he should offer a pep talk of his own.
Rory always has a way of lifting Trina’s spirits, so Josslyn should notice when he does it once again.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas will be consumed by his betrayal.
We’ll see Nikolas torture himself as he replays his hookup with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) in his mind and worries about getting caught.
Ava will sense that Nikolas is totally absorbed by his thoughts, so she’ll ask if he wants to share.
Since Ava will be able to tell that something’s bothering Nikolas, she’ll urge him to confess.
Nikolas can’t do that without blowing up his marriage, so he’ll stay tight-lipped about the real reason he’s so pensive.
However, Nikolas will get a big cheating reminder when Esme waltzes in with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Esme will seem quite chipper as she declares that love is all around.
Since Spencer said he was willing to do anything for a reunion, perhaps Esme got her lovemaking wish behind closed doors.
Spencer might consider that a small price to pay if he can get closer to Esme and take her down for Trina’s sake.
Whatever the case, Ava will grow suspicious of Spencer and will corner him to ask what kind of game he’s playing.
As for Esme, she’ll eventually pay Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) a visit.
Within the next episode or two, Esme will offer updates on her Nikolas progress and perhaps get scolded for not letting things explode on the spot.
Nevertheless, Esme can try to sell Ryan on the benefits of waiting for the right time and place for destruction.
Ryan is a smart guy, so he may pick up on the feelings Esme has for Nik under the surface and warn there’s no room for those in their scheme.
At home, Sasha will reiterate that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) needs to get off her back.
Gladys just slapped a bottle out of Sasha’s hands and sent pills flying across the floor – just in time for Brando Corbin (temporarily played by Brad Schmidt) to witness the aftermath.
Naturally, Sasha wouldn’t be using some addictive drug out in the open. These pills may be some non-habit-forming medication or even vitamins.
Sasha will lash out at Gladys and reiterate that she’s not using drugs anymore.
However, there’s the potential for a concerned Brando to find out about Sasha’s recent relapse and the real reason Gladys moved in.
Meanwhile, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will seek approval on something, so he may be fishing to find out if his Society Setups event was a success – at least other than the obvious Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) drama.
Sam will also speak to Carly alone and will have some news to pass along.
It looks like this will involve the plot against Esme, so maybe Sam will share some info regarding Maggie Fitzgerald the nanny and an attempt to track her down.
Finally, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will get sick of Britt’s pity party. “You need to take back your power, lady!” Cody shouts in Thursday’s GH preview video.
Britt clearly doesn’t get along with Cody at this point, but she may have to admit that he’s right.
It’s time for Britt to regain control of her life and figure out a new path forward.
General Hospital spoilers say Britt and Cody will grow closer down the road, so sparks could fly sooner than they think.
