General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, March 17, tease that Britt Westbourne Kelly Thiebaud) will spill a secret to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) blasts Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will also tell Spencer Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to dump Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so here’s what viewers can expect.
At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will open up to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about her concerns.
Portia feels like Spencer and Esme are toxic, so she’s hoping she can protect Trina before it’s too late.
Portia will also have an uncomfortable encounter with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), so that could involve another awkward conversation about Portia’s new place with Curtis.
At Spring Ridge, Trina will give Spencer some tough love as usual.
Spencer will insist he cares about Trina as well as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), but Trina will think he should prove it by leaving his girlfriend.
Of course, Spencer may argue that it’s not that simple. He feels connected to Esme, who was his rock during a difficult time at boarding school.
Spencer also believes Esme always has had his back, but the truth is she’s playing him like a fiddle!
Since Spencer refuses to see the light, that could tie in with a big decision Trina’s about to make.
Will Trina cut Spencer out of her life like Portia wants?
Regardless, Thursday will mark Sydney Mikayla’s final airdate ahead of Tabyana Ali’s debut as a recast during the week of March 21-25.
Next, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) won’t be pleased over Johann (Max Decker) joining his meeting with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Victor may insist it’s just for protection, but Drew will ask who’s going to protect Johann if things go sideways.
As for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), they’ll be camped out nearby with some equipment.
Sam will have headphones on as she apparently listens in on Drew’s conversation through a planted bug, but she’ll grow concerned over the plan being derailed.
“We don’t have any time!” Sam warns Dante in Thursday’s preview video.
They’ll have to make some major adjustments to the plot ASAP and hope Drew stays safe.
Victor seems poised to whip out that tarot card and try it on Drew eventually. Drew’s goal is to pretend he’s been reactivated and find out what Victor’s true objective is. If Victor discovers Drew is faking it, there’ll be more danger than ever.
Back at GH, Britt will inadvertently let something slip to Carly.
Perhaps Britt heard about Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) plan to have Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) declared legally dead and will accidentally drop that bomb.
While Carly wraps her head around a shocker, Sonny will deliver bad news to Nina about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) standing their ground.
Nina may think that leaves her no choice but to pursue legal action.
Nina will be desperate for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) visitation rights, but Sonny will have a major outburst over the situation not going his way.
That’ll lead to Sonny smashing something in a fit of rage, so Nina will eventually be rattled enough to leave.
Nina may admit she doesn’t feel safe around Sonny anymore, but Sonny will insist that Nina knows him.
“NO! I knew ‘Mike’!” Nina shouts in Thursday’s preview clip.
Nina will think Sonny needs to get a grip on his anger issues and may argue that she can’t do it for him.
