General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, November 3, teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will hope to strike a deal while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) face a big change. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will also rescue someone in need, so let’s discuss all the GH drama.
First, Portia and Curtis’s plans will change unexpectedly. Curtis will seem excited about this sudden shift, so they might score a wedding venue that requires marrying sooner than anticipated.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will offer more hook updates. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will want to hear about the latest proof, so Jordan may open up about the killer’s letter to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and how it backed up the pattern.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) now knows she’s the common link for the hook attacks, so she’ll battle a mix of guilt and fear. There’ll obviously be safety concerns for Josslyn, Trina and even Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Since Josslyn apparently won’t be able to get in touch with Cam, that’ll make her extra fearful. Cameron will end up on the footbridge, so he could be vulnerable if “The Hook” targets him for a vengeful strike.
It seems that footbridge will also serve as a meeting spot for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), but Holly certainly won’t be happy about it.
Although Holly appears to be doing Victor’s dirty work, that’s only because she’s being forced to. Victor may be holding Ethan Lovett captive as a way of keeping Holly in line.
Regardless, Holly will feel conflicted as she spills more info related to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Holly may have no choice but to help sabotage Anna’s shot at freedom, but she’ll be torn about it.
Next, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will drop some hints until Robert pushes him to just come out with whatever he’s hiding. This may be related to Mac’s looming DNA test results and the possibility that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is his son.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will try to keep Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) from quitting the music scene. Although Chase will expect to retire after Linc Brown’s (Dan Buran) takedown is complete, Brook Lynn will think the sky’s the limit on his popstar career.
Of course, Chase would much rather be a detective again, but Brook Lynn is keeping secrets and hindering his efforts to rejoin the force. Brook Lynn’s actions should lead to some major clashing sooner or later, but he’ll consider her career suggestion for now.
After a strategy session with Maxie, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will have some news for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Despite Sasha insisting they’re doing what’s best, Gladys will object and kick off a showdown.
Could this involve a guardian change or at least lead to contemplating one? The fact that Sasha and Gladys are already feuding doesn’t bode well for their current guardianship plan, so they might need a new one.
Maxie will sit down with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and try to nail down a deal of some sort, so Gladys will go off in search of comfort – and she’ll find it once she bumps into Austin. Look for Austin to console Gladys and perhaps be just what the doctor ordered in this moment.
