Every time the show gets close to a breakthrough for Spencer and Trina, there’s always some new obstacle standing in the way.
However, it’s obvious Trina loves Spencer and that she’d want to be with him if things were less complicated.
Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) is a nice enough guy, but nice enough doesn’t make an epic soap love story!
Spencer and Trina are putting in the work to become a true love match through all the angst and hurdles along the way.
Of course, Trina has been reluctant to visit Spencer despite finding out the truth about his grand plan.
Spencer always believed in Trina’s innocence and only pretended to get back together with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) to expose her.
The goal was always to clear Trina’s name since Spencer would go to the ends of the earth for her.
Unfortunately, Trina missed visiting Spencer before he was transferred to Pentonville, so now things are awkward once again.
It’ll be interesting to see if Trina gathers up the nerve to see Spencer while he’s in the slammer. Regardless, good things are coming down the road.
Esme will no doubt create more complications with her presence, but Spencer and Trina have to decide all the outside noise doesn’t matter anymore.
Trina can’t fight what she feels any more than Spencer can, so these two are destined for couple status once his prison stint is over.
At some point, Trina will confess her love for Spencer and officially kick off their romantic relationship.
“Sprina” fans are anxiously awaiting that day, but some cute pictures of the duo have been generating tons of social media buzz in the meantime.

It’s clear that Spencer and Trina have amazing chemistry as well as an angsty story that’s hitting all the right notes.
The show has the winning formula for a hot younger couple that fans can root for, so let’s hope the wait for “Sprina” won’t be too much longer!
