General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) true paternity may finally come out. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) seems poised to pay for lying to bio dad Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), so let’s talk about some crucial clues.
For starters, Curtis was hit hard by Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) return and all the lies.
Even now, Marshall is keeping secrets – and that’s going to make Curtis even more upset when he realizes Portia has been lying to him for so many years.
GH fans will recall how Portia thought she was going to die while trapped in a basement with Jordan Ashford (last played by Briana Nicole Henry).
Portia knew that if she didn’t survive, the truth about Trina’s father would never come to light.
Of course, Portia indeed survived and still chose to hide the biological dad bombshell.
Portia obviously doesn’t want to ruin the wonderful relationship Trina and Marcus Taggert (Asanta Jones) have, which was on full display in the February 11 episode.
It seems significant that GH is making Taggert part of the story again and highlighting his strong bond with Trina.
They faced some bumps in the road when Taggert faked his death, but Trina forgave him and couldn’t love her dad more.
The problem is Taggert isn’t Trina’s true father – and Portia is bound to get busted for keeping that shocker quiet.
This could blow up Portia and Curtis’ romance in a big way, so it’s a good idea to brace for chaos and destruction.
Tajh Bellow is now on contract as TJ Ashford and has some great drama coming up – perhaps related to Jordan’s looming return in recast form.
There’ll be a mention in the February 14 episode about someone’s homecoming possibly happening sooner than anticipated, so that could involve Jordan.
Jordan’s comeback could play a huge role in the exposure of Portia’s secret, so Curtis, Trina and Taggert had better be ready!
Trina may face this shocking paternity truth down the road and have to lean on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) once he’s out of Spring Ridge.
Taggert will always love Trina and be her dad in every way that counts.
Even so, Curtis was robbed of the chance to raise Trina – and that means Portia will face his fury eventually!
