General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, April 26 Recap – Carly’s Staged Accident Fails – Harmony’s Murder Confessions Rock Alexis

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 26, reveals that Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) staged car accident went wrong as Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) murder confessions rocked Alexis Davis (temporarily played by Stephanie Erb).

At Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) place on Tuesday’s GH episode, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) found Smoltz (David Lautman) harassing Nina for a comment and kicked him out.

Nina had a conversation with Sasha about Sonny’s business and how she hadn’t thought to question things – like whether he killed the robbers who were out on bail.

Sasha felt that Nina had to decide how much she wanted to know, especially if she was going to be involved with Sonny.

Nina admitted she’d like to have a relationship with Sonny, but she ultimately grew concerned about how Sasha was holding up.

Sasha alluded to mistakes catching up with her, so Nina worried Sasha thought she was being punished in some way for Liam Corbin’s death.

After Nina offered reassurance, she gave Sasha a hug and promised there were so many people that loved her.

Nina pointed out that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was at the top of that list.

Meanwhile, Brando took the lead on house-hunting with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to make things easier on Sasha.

Brando was hopeful about a brighter future in their new home.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) questioned if Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was sure about cutting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out of his life.

Michael stood his ground since he didn’t even recognize the person his father had turned into.

Although Willow had Michael’s back, she also warned about letting that resentment build and becoming someone else.

Willow urged Michael not to become the very thing he was trying to protect Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) from.

At the boxing gym, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) started to quiz Sonny about the thugs that got out on bail, but Sonny wanted to speak to his son, not a cop.

After Dante heard about Sonny’s fight with Michael, he understood Michael’s perspective somewhat.

That upset Sonny, who felt like another son wasn’t on his side.

Once Brando arrived, he spoke to Sonny while Dante was on a phone call.

Brando felt like Michael had grown up with a life of privilege and was used to Sonny always putting his family first.

Now that Sonny was doing something to seek happiness for himself, Michael was feeling betrayed.

Dante returned and patched things up with Sonny.

Dante hoped that Sonny could make amends with Michael before they said things they couldn’t take back, but Sonny made it clear that it was too late for that.

Since Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) stood her ground on not putting Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) in danger, she refused to come stay at Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) place.

However, Liz agreed to check in the Metro Court and enjoyed a cup of tea while she waited for the staff to get her room ready.

That led to an encounter with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), who learned Aiden Spencer (Enzo De Angelis) wasn’t actually working on a school project with all the ghost talk.

Finn snapped at Lucy for how she handled the situation with Aiden and thought she had been irresponsible.

Lucy defended herself since Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) never came up – and Aiden seemed genuinely curious about how the spirit world worked.

Finn ultimately apologized and dashed off to take Liz’s things up to her room for her.

That left Lucy to suggest that Liz should try a well-respected medium and see if there was really a presence in her house.

Near the cliff, Harmony said she’d make this look like a tragic accident. She picked up a rock as she admitted she never meant for things to go this far.

Harmony placed the rock on the brake pedal and planned to move it to the gas just as soon as Carly was in the driver’s seat.

Before Harmony could move drugged Carly from the trunk for the cliff drive, Alexis showed up with plenty of questions.

Harmony was coming unhinged under the pressure, so she wound up confessing she killed Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) and Brendon Byrne (Josh Coxx).

Alexis reeled as Carly came to and started banging groggily from the trunk.

Harmony pushed Alexis to just let her disappear, so Alexis pretended she wasn’t going to stop her and then dove to open the trunk.

After Alexis realized Carly was thankfully still alive, she demanded to know what Carly had to do with any of this.

Harmony admitted Carly saw Neil’s notes about her and knew too much. “And now you do, too. I can’t let you leave,” Harmony warned Alexis.

General Hospital spoilers say some bombshells are still to come as Harmony’s downward spiral continues.
