General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, April 5 Recap – Maxie & Austin’s Kiss Horrifies Brook Lynn – Aiden’s Shocking Stalker

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 5, reveals that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) kiss horrified Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) – and Aiden Spencer (Enzo De Angelis) came up with a shocking stalker suspect. Here’s how all Tuesday’s GH action went down.

At the boxing gym, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) stonewalled Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on any talk about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and the video investigation.

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) showed up looking all spiffy, so he offered updates on Deception’s IPO launch party.

In a moment alone, Brando expressed his gratitude to Sonny for everything he’d done for him.

Brando insisted he’d be honored to repay the favor someday, so Sonny said he’d keep that in mind.

At home, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) saw that the paint on the “DON’T FORGET ME” message was still fresh and tried to cover everything up when Jake Webber (Hudson West) appeared.

Jake realized there’d been another incident anyway and summoned Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to help.

Liz opened up about her dream along with the message that followed, so Jake and Aiden were concerned along with Finn.

After Finn called Dante over, Liz worried that maybe someone was standing over her while she slept and that was why the written message was the same as in her dream.

Dante bagged up the artwork to have it tested for fingerprints and said Liz should come down to the PCPD so they could rule hers out.

Dante also thought it was best for Liz and the boys to stay elsewhere for now, so Liz decided she’d send Jake and Aiden to Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place.

As for Liz herself, she acted like it didn’t matter if she stayed since this was about her and not her location.

In the kitchen, Aiden spoke with Jake alone and proposed the idea that a person might not be behind this.

Aiden wondered if it could be Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), so he was clearly thinking Franco’s ghost might be haunting Liz.

At Wyndemere, Esme accepted her usual coffee and acknowledged that her pregnancy test results were negative.

Esme confessed that despite Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) insistence that she could stay, she had worried he would kick her out.

Nikolas eventually joined Esme and Spencer to insist she could indeed stick around.

Although Nikolas thought the lack of pregnancy news was for the best, he made it clear Esme didn’t have to leave.

Later, Spencer showed up at the boxing gym, where he confronted Sonny about scaring Esme like that.

Sonny thought Spencer had some nerve talking to him about intimidation after what he did to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and how he roped in Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) into it.

Although Spencer didn’t actually believe Sonny would physically harm Esme, he couldn’t turn his back on her.

Sonny argued that Spencer’s loyalty should be with people who’d been by his side and felt Spencer was backing the wrong horse.

At Charlie’s Pub, Ava wanted Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) legal advice since there was trouble in her marriage.

Scott got the scoop and wondered if this was really about Esme or if Ava was just looking for a way out.

After Ava admitted calling Scott might’ve been a bit rash, he advised her to hang onto her marital property and plant her flag.

That let Ava know what she had to do.

At one point, Laura came in and overheard that there might be a little baby Cassadine on the way.

Laura got Ava to clarify that it was only a possibility as far as she knew.

Laura was alarmed over Nikolas standing by Esme to the point that Ava had left the house.

Laura confronted Nikolas at Wyndemere, but he acted like Spencer would never forgive himself if anything happened to Esme.

Laura understood that on some level, but she also knew Nikolas didn’t want his wife leaving him.

Laura told Nikolas about Ava calling a lawyer and urged him to be more proactive about salvaging his marriage.

Laura eventually turned her attention to not-pregnant Esme and sincerely hoped she had nothing to do with the scandalous video.

Esme denied it before Nikolas piped up that he was keeping an open mind.

Laura hoped that Esme wouldn’t betray Nikolas’ trust, but Ava walked in and insisted they already knew the answer to that.

At The Savoy, Deception’s IPO launch party got in full swing and brought the revelation that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) was a secret investor.

Selina also cornered Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about holding her poker nights there and held out hope that they could partner up.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) met Selina and commented on Sonny being a mutual acquaintance of theirs.

Selina called Sonny a valuable friend and felt you could never have too many of those, but Curtis warned Nina that Ms. Wu was trouble.

Brook was horrified when she saw Maxie kissing Austin and declared him her arch-nemesis.

After Brook Lynn realized Austin and Maxie were a thing now, she seemed hurt that she was just finding out.

However, Brook Lynn ultimately stepped aside with Austin as they acknowledged they both cared about Maxie.

They also knew innocent people got hurt because of their feud, so they shook on a ceasefire – though Brook Lynn clarified it was only happening because Austin was with Maxie.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) thought the face of Deception should also be the voice of Deception for this big event.

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) snuck off to do drugs and gather the courage to make a speech.

Sasha ended up stammering a bit as she reflected on the people who couldn’t be there, but she got through it without raising any major red flags.

The IPO launch went well, so there was talk about how rich all the ladies involved were going to be.
