General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, April 5, teases that Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) new man will cause trouble – and a mystery investor will send shockwaves. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will also make a confession, so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
At the boxing gym, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will extend his gratitude to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for his role in setting the Niagara Falls trip in motion.
That trip obviously worked out pretty well from Brando’s perspective since he came home a married man!
Brando will prepare to support Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) at the Deception IPO launch bash, but he’ll offer to repay a favor to Sonny first.
We’ll see Brando insist that he’d be honored to do it, so maybe this will shift the story toward Brando’s mob organization involvement.
Brando might be more open to taking on a role in Sonny’s business without a baby in the picture.
It’s worth considering since Sonny needs someone to fill Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) shoes – and all signs point to that person being Brando down the road.
In the meantime, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will look forward to a wonderful night.
Lucy will head to The Savoy with Maxie, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to celebrate Deception’s impressive step forward.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will step aside with Sasha and praise her for all the hard work that’s gone into this company.
Lucy will feel like this is the start of great things for Deception, but Sasha will behave rather strangely due to the pills she keeps popping.
Over with Maxie, she’ll share a fun toast with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) while Brook Lynn deals with an uncomfortable run-in.
It seems Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will extend an olive branch and get snapped at initially.
Brook Lynn will apparently act like she’s not looking for an apology or anything else from Austin.
When Brook Lynn discovers that Austin and Maxie are moving into dating territory, that’ll add to the awkwardness!
A mysterious character will also pop up with an announcement to make – one that involves being a secret investor in Deception.
That announcement will make some waves, but so will Sasha’s upcoming drug-driven speech.
As for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll be annoyed when Selina Wu (Lydia Look) just won’t take no for an answer.
Curtis won’t see why they should rehash her poker game proposal, but Selina will have a plan to win him over and reserve The Savoy twice a month like she wants.
That plan could involve unsealing Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) arrest record and helping Curtis uncover the dirt he needs to keep his family safe.
The more info Curtis has, the better he’ll be able to assess the situation and protect his loved ones.
While Curtis mulls over Selina’s new pitch, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will offer Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) reassurance.
Liz will be shaken up over her creepy dream and the message that echoed the “don’t forget me” idea.
Finn will want to call for backup, so we’ll see if that means summoning Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) or someone else.
Regardless, Jake Webber (Hudson West) and Aiden Webber (Enzo De Angelis) will support their mom before settling on a new theory about Liz’s stalker.
Will Aiden and Jake worry that Liz herself is behind these strange happenings? It’s possible Liz just can’t recall the incidents after she’s pulled them off.
On the other hand, Aiden and Jake may have someone else who rises to the top of their suspect list.
No matter what these brothers come up with, their main goal will be ending Liz’s torment and restoring peace to their family.
At Charlie’s Pub, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will need a drink now that she’s walked out on Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) at Wyndemere.
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will find out about the whole Esme situation and offer some legal guidance – whether that’s regarding Esme or even Ava’s suddenly crumbling marriage.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will arrive in time to eavesdrop on some of Ava and Scott’s discussion.
Laura will discover that Esme is living at Wyndemere and might be pregnant, so that’ll leave her concerned for so many reasons.
Next, Esme and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will look at the pregnancy test results and most likely learn there’s a baby on the way.
Esme will also have a confession to make, so she’ll continue to manipulate Spencer’s emotions and make an even bigger mess.
General Hospital spoilers say Esme will keep working hard to please Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), so that can only mean bad news for the people of Port Charles.
