General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 13, teases that Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) plan will go wrong while Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) news stuns Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also get a surprise invite, so let’s discuss what’s coming up in Port Charles.
First, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will face some difficult updates on her birth mother – at least the woman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) believes is her birth mother.
According to Denise McKenzie (Alex Rietveld), Joan died of an overdose after abandoning her baby on the commune.
Drew will fill Willow in and admit Joan seemingly didn’t have any siblings.
There’s also no info on Willow’s biological father, so Drew will be sorry he couldn’t offer better answers.
Willow will confess just how significant this mission was to her, but will she admit her leukemia battle and bone marrow donor hunt?
Regardless, Carly’s plan will go wrong despite her best efforts to lead Drew astray.
GH fans know Denise told Drew exactly what Carly wanted, so she presumably bribed her.
Of course, there could be issues if Denise tries to get more cash out of Carly or hold this over her head in any way.
Carly could also run into some problems if Willow’s bone marrow donor search comes to light.
No matter how it happens, Carly’s scheme is indeed going to get more complicated.
It’s clear that Carly’s efforts to conceal Willow and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) bio link will prove tougher than she thought.
At the hospital, Maxie will be surprised over Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) birthday party invite and may question why Britt’s so insistent on a big celebration.
Britt’s strange behavior will no doubt raise an eyebrow for Maxie – and Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) odd actions should make Maxie suspicious, too.
Once Maxie realizes Austin and Britt are keeping secrets, she may demand to know what they’re hiding.
This could lead to Britt spilling her Huntington’s disease diagnosis sooner or later, but Maxie will blast Austin for his secrecy in the meantime.
As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll have a tough decision to make. Finn assured Liz that he’d never do anything to hurt her boys, so he won’t be revealing her pregnancy news to them.
However, Finn could still unleash the shocker on Ava Jerome (Maura West) – and it appears he’ll at least be tempted to when they cross paths.
That said, Ava doesn’t seem poised to face Liz’s baby shocker until closer to the end of the week, so Finn might clam up for the time being.
Until then, Liz will leave Nikolas reeling when she admits the giant pregnancy lie she just told Finn.
Nikolas will wonder what Liz was thinking, but she’ll explain how she felt backed into a corner after Finn got the wrong idea about the prenatal vitamins.
Although Nikolas might think Liz did the right thing in the end, she’ll feel like coming clean is the only path forward.
Liz will insist she has to tell Finn the truth, but Nikolas will do his best to silence her.
Nikolas won’t want anyone finding out that he’s holding pregnant Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) hostage, but that bomb will inevitably drop sooner or later.
Other GH spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will reassure Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who’ll struggle with boundaries and knowing how big of a role she should play in his life.
Despite Nina’s concerns about their future together, Sonny may remind her that he’s all in and willing to conquer any obstacles headed their way.
Even if the other people in Sonny’s world can’t get with the program, he’s more than willing to stand by Nina and embrace their love.
Finally, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will do a little more collaborating.
There’ll be some hook-related brainstorming, so Gregory and Alexis could be provoking PC’s most dangerous threat.
General Hospital spoilers say “The Hook” will find a new target before long, so stay tuned!
