General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, February 8 Recap – Sonny Throws Jason’s Ghost in Carly’s Face – Peter Kidnaps Charlotte

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 8, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) threw Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) ghost in Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) face while Peter August (Wes Ramsey) kidnapped Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain). Let’s talk about how all Tuesday’s GH action played out.

For starters, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) assumed Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had lost it since she was claiming “Bailey Quartermaine” was actually Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) confirmed it was true before Maxie spilled her whole plan to keep Louise safe.

Maxie complained about the cops doing things by the book since that’d take forever. She knew Peter had kidnapped Louise and wanted to find her ASAP.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) got Maxie to recap who knew Louise’s true identity, so Maxie mentioned Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) – though she felt Nina would’ve taken that secret to the grave.

Once Brook Lynn was alone with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), he admitted he was scared about the consequences of all this.

Ned was also disappointed over losing a granddaughter since “Bailey” never really existed, but he was proud of Brook Lynn for putting so much on the line to help Maxie.

At GH, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) was allowed to visit Mac Scorpio (John J. York), who was still unconscious.

Felicia had a romantic flashback and held Mac’s hand as she urged him to pull through.

In Peter’s getaway SUV, he spoke to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) over the phone about their deal.

Peter insisted he’d reveal all the buried secrets of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and that Victor’s perseverance would pay off.

Victor finally told Peter to meet him at Pier 55 and vowed to help Peter get out of Port Charles undetected.

Once Peter hung up, he asked Louise if they could trust Victor and had a plan since Victor had proven treacherous in the past.

As for Victor, he told his minion that Peter had outlived his usefulness.

Victor arranged to cut off all Peter’s escape routes and warned that his men could make no mistakes. Victor made it clear that he’d get what he wanted and then Peter would die.

On The Haunted Star, Sonny tried to explain after Carly found him in bed with Nina.

Sonny rambled about Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) telling him that Carly wasn’t coming, but Carly shut down the discussion.

Carly just thought Sonny would want to know that Peter escaped, Mac got shot and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was hurt.

Carly raced out and struggled to catch her breath on the deck, where she found the new wedding rings Sonny had made for them.

Inside, Nina was apologetic and got dressed along with Sonny. When Nina suggested there was nothing to say, Sonny countered that there was plenty.

Sonny seemingly hated leaving Nina behind, but he had to see this through and rushed out to find Carly.

Carly had a memory of Sonny asking her to marry him before Sonny appeared in the present.

Carly was upset over Sonny hopping in bed with Nina and couldn’t fix a marriage with three people in it.

Sonny acted like they should leave Nina out of this and enraged Carly even further.

When Carly asked how many times this happened, Sonny confirmed it was just once.

Carly then asked how many times Sonny wanted it to happen, so he fired back with a hurtful response.

“Maybe as many times as you wanted it to happen with Jason,” Sonny said.

Sonny felt Carly still loved Jason and ranted about Carly stringing him along.

Carly was upset over Sonny never holding Nina accountable, but Sonny felt like she’d found an excuse to leave him and pine for Jason’s ghost.

Carly pointed out that Jason didn’t cheat on her; Sonny did.

Carly argued that Sonny could rewrite this any way he wanted, but the ending would be the same. Carly shouted that they were over – and that was on Sonny!

Since Sonny couldn’t choose a woman, Carly was making the choice for him. Carly insisted she was choosing herself and told Sonny goodbye.

Once Sonny was alone, he held his hand out to drop the new wedding rings into the harbor.

Back at GH, Drew admitted to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that he’d like to take Peter down – but only if it was a sure thing.

Drew wasn’t going to take unnecessary chances now that he just got his life back.

Drew wanted to talk to Sam about their relationship, which was something she wanted to do, too.

Drew reflected on how the thought of reuniting with his family got him through his time in captivity.

Drew wondered what kind of family he had with Sam and seemed hopeful about a romantic turning point.

While Laura Collins (Genie Francis) got updates from Robert on “Bailey” being Louise, Charlotte begged Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to stay home alone.

Charlotte wanted to wait there in case Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) came looking for her.

Charlotte assured Kevin that she was old enough and pointed out she was just going to order a pizza.

After Kevin relented and left, Charlotte called Nina to express concern over missing Valentin.

Nina thought maybe Anna could help and vowed to call Charlotte back.

After Charlotte’s pizza arrived, she opened the door to a horrifying sight. Peter offered a creepy greeting to Charlotte while dressed as the pizza delivery man.

The real delivery guy was unconscious on the floor when Peter shoved his way inside to snatch Charlotte.

Next, Peter headed down to the pier, where Victor demanded the Drew info before they did anything else.

Peter felt like he was in control and threatened to take all his Drew secrets elsewhere, but Victor had one of his snipers point a red dot at Peter.

If Peter took one more step, Victor insisted he was a dead man. Peter caved in and offered up all the Drew information offscreen.

Peter expected Victor to keep his end of the bargain, but Victor had other plans.

After Victor’s henchman slugged Peter and got him down on the ground, Victor hinted about Port Charles getting its first good night’s sleep in four long years.

Peter chuckled as he suggested that was a bad idea. “If you kill me, your granddaughter Charlotte dies, too,” Peter said.

After Maxie met up with Felicia, she spoke sweetly to Mac at his hospital bedside.

It was a big relief when Mac finally woke up and joked around with his loved ones.

Back with Sam and Drew, they were interrupted by Nina’s arrival.

Drew listened to Sam speak about her love for Dante, so he downplayed his own feelings once they were alone again.

Drew was sorry if he muddied up Sam’s relationship with Dante since he was truly happy for the two of them.

am and Drew confirmed they were still family as Dante walked over.

Once Drew made sure Dante was OK, he urged him to keep it that way since Sam needed him.

Sam let Dante know she’d found clarity with Drew and wanted him to be careful as he continued the search for Peter.

Meanwhile, Carly went looking for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and stumbled across Drew instead.

Nina also locked eyes with Sonny at the hospital, where they had yet another encounter.

Nearby, Anna noted that Peter would need help getting away.

Anna talked to Dante and Laura about that, so Laura acknowledged that Victor had been willing to help Peter before.

General Hospital spoilers say Peter’s escape plot will come with even more curveballs, so stay tuned.
