General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 12, teases that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will hunt for proof while Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) struggles to save Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also fume over Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) latest move, so there’ll be some big things happening in Port Charles.
In the park, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will come to her senses regarding the kisses she just shared with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse).
As nice as those lip locks were, Trina will apparently think it’s time to concentrate on her trial and put all the distractions aside.
Trina will tell Rory that it can’t happen again, but he may hope she just means until the trial’s over. Of course, Trina can’t know for sure whether she’ll get off the hook, but she may confirm she’d like to pick up where they left off if her name is cleared.
Speaking of clearing Trina’s name, Curtis and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will do their best to make that happen.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will grow increasingly concerned about Trina’s mental state and how bad things could get if her daughter gets convicted.
However, Curtis will have a strategy that he thinks could help Trina – and Marshall will gladly pitch in.
The bartender who recognized Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) as one of his previous customers is still out there, so it looks like Marshall will help Curtis search for him.
Curtis will hope to find proof that’ll end Trina’s nightmare once and for all.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will keep working toward the same goal, but it’s clear that everyone needs to speed this process along!
Over with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll explode when she realizes Nina bought her half of the Metro Court.
Nina will propose handing it over to Carly as a peace offering for hiding Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Nixon Falls, but Carly won’t be interested.
After Carly accuses Nina of trying to look good in Sonny’s eyes, she’ll turn her down flat.
Nina will plead with Carly to just accept her proposal, but Carly will simply send Nina on her way.
Next, Drew will seethe over Nina buying Carly’s Metro Court half.
That’ll lead to Drew grumbling to Olivia, who won’t be OK with it either – though her hands are clearly tied now that Nina’s made the purchase.
Sonny will also get updates, but he’ll struggle to understand what Nina’s thinking and will call to confirm that it’s even true.
Once Sonny learns Nina indeed bought Carly’s portion of the hotel, he’ll want to corner Nina and hear her side of the story.
Carly will find the whole thing bizarre and infuriating as she spills the news to others in Port Charles.
Nina will claim she was just trying to make amends, but Carly won’t see it that way – and Sonny won’t approve either once he finally has a chance to confront Nina about this.
As for Sasha, she’ll fear her on-air catastrophe will do major damage to Deception.
Sasha will still be at GH when she quizzes Brando about the consequences following her live debacle.
Nevertheless, Brando will think Sasha needs to put Deception aside and put the emphasis on her personal recovery.
Although Sasha will act like she’s going to be fine, Brando won’t be so sure and will think his wife needs more help than she’s willing to admit.
Between Sasha’s intense grief and obvious drug problem, Brando is right about Sasha needing professional assistance.
Unfortunately, Brando will run into trouble as he tries to save Sasha from heading down the wrong road.
