General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, June 21, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will join the fight once Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) puts a big plan in motion. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also offer a grim prediction, so here’s what fans can look forward to in GH’s 15,000th episode.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) just made an ominous phone call and alerted Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to the disaster that’s brewing.
There’s no stopping the political scandal that’s on the way, so the best thing Laura can do is fight back with the help of some familiar faces.
Alexis was probably given a story to run at The Invader – one that’ll be taken to a trashier publication if she doesn’t publish it first.
Although Alexis can control the narrative a bit better than most, someone is still targeting Laura and trying to ruin her career.
Laura is currently the well-respected mayor of Port Charles, but someone wants to destroy that respect and yank away her position of power.
The question is: Who’s behind this mysterious attack on Laura and her job?
Scott will gather up several PC residents, including Sam, Carly, Alexis, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and more.
They’ll all be part of the plan to combat this threat and save Laura from losing the mayor spot.
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will point out that Laura doesn’t need votes to know she’s loved – and he’ll be proven right when Laura sees so many people banding together for her.
Although Laura will be terrified of what the future holds, she’ll try not to show it.
Britt and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will discuss what Laura’s up against, so Britt will point out that you’d never know Laura was a dead woman walking!
It sounds like Britt will have a rather grim outlook about this situation, so she may worry Laura will indeed lose her job.
However, Laura will take charge of her own destiny and go after the person responsible for all this drama.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Selina Wu (Lydia Look) will meet with Curtis as they try to nail down the source of all the trouble.
The three of them will team up to find some clues and hopefully expose the baddie to blame.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) rigged the election once upon a time, so that’s something that could come back into play here.
On the other hand, there could be some other scandalous story that’ll become the talk of the town.
Either way, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) should be featured on Tuesday’s show, so he’ll have a chance to weigh in.
Will Cyrus take some credit in what’s happening to Laura or deny any involvement at all?
Laura will eventually find someone who’s been waiting to settle the score, so she’ll gear up for a fierce confrontation and resolve this mystery quickly.
It’ll be a great 15,000th episode storyline that’ll allow Laura to shine along with most of the cast.
