General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 1, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) threatened Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) over blocked Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) access. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) also found a new attitude after a fun activity, so let’s talk about how all Tuesday’s action went down.
At the Metro Court, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was relieved over Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) making it back from Switzerland in one piece.
They discussed Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) death before Drew hinted about taking on a leadership role at Aurora Media again.
Sam suggested Drew didn’t need her permission since the company was still his.
Sam mentioned that Jasper “Jax” Jacks had divested due to a conflict of interest and urged Drew to “go for it” with her full support.
Soon after, Sam joined Carly and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
Olivia had a plan to help Carly process the end of her marriage and all the emotions she was feeling, so they all wound up at a throwing club.
Although Carly thought the idea was ridiculous at first, Olivia unveiled a picture of Nina as motivation.
That was enough to convince Carly to hurl some axes at targets before sharing a beer with Sam and Olivia.
Carly still wanted revenge on Nina, but she let Olivia and Sam steer her toward focusing on a fresh start.
After deciding to release herself from Nina and Sonny, Carly hit a bullseye with an ax.
Back with Drew, he sat down with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and played up how he needed a jazz musician now that he was getting back in the media game at Aurora.
Drew suggested he wanted someone with Marshall’s expertise to connect with artists and serve as a concierge of sorts.
Marshall assumed Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) put Drew up to this and refused to be a charity case.
Nevertheless, Drew insisted he really did need a jazz musician for the new music division and didn’t think it was so bad that Curtis recommended his father.
Marshall relented and continued the interview, but they hit another snag when Drew brought up the background check as part of company policy.
After Marshall claimed this job wouldn’t leave enough time for his own music, he politely declined and took off.
At Charlie’s Pub, Curtis and Stella Henry (Vernee Henry) found Nina and realized she was down in the dumps.
Curtis tried to grill Nina about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in a moment alone, but it wasn’t long before she changed the topic to Marshall.
After overhearing part of that conversation, Stella grew concerned over what Curtis was planning.
Stella realized Curtis was plotting with Drew to score Marshall information and thought patience was a better solution than sneaking around.
Drew called Curtis soon after and revealed that Marshall had rejected the offer after the background check was mentioned.
At the hospital, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) brought Willow a tablet she left behind since she had an exam coming up.
After Michael mentioned his parents’ divorce, Willow thought they should talk about Nina and her desire to visit Wiley.
Willow was upset over Nina playing her during their last conversation.
Nina once again left out important facts by pushing for Wiley time without divulging what happened on The Haunted Star.
Willow thought maybe Michael had been right all along and didn’t think she wanted someone like that in Wiley’s life.
Michael was all for keeping Nina away, but he suggested they should take their time and make sure emotion wasn’t driving their decisions.
Later, Nina ran into Willow at GH and hoped she could spend some time with Wiley this weekend.
Willow ranted about Nina seeking a married man like a heat missile and wondered why Nina thought she wouldn’t have a problem with that.
Nina appreciated how Willow had been an ally, but Willow didn’t know how she was supposed to keep advocating for Nina when she couldn’t believe a word she said.
When Nina insisted Wiley was her blood, Willow argued that blood didn’t entitle someone to have a relationship and cause pain.
Although Nina acted like she would learn from her mistakes, Willow made it clear that she wouldn’t be seeing Wiley anytime soon.
Nina’s expression turned menacing as she reminded Willow that she had rights as Wiley’s biological grandparent.
If Willow and Michael intended to block access to Wiley, then Nina insisted she would fight for those rights.
At home, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) continued to freak over the portrait sighting and jumped when Cameron Webber (William Lipton) appeared behind her.
Cameron called the police at Liz’s request – and then Liz called Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) with an alert about the break-in.
Finn filled Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in on the string of incidents that were related to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), but he turned down Chase’s help for now.
After Finn took off, Michael showed up and apologized for lashing out over Chase sleeping with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Michael now understood that Chase and Brook Lynn were just trying to protect Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby.
Chase eventually pointed out that he never slept with Brook Lynn and ripped into Michael since he had zero right to judge.
Chase was upset over the way Michael had acted like that was just as bad as Michael sleeping with Willow, who was married to Chase at the time.
Chase shouted that Michael was only there to absolve his own guilt and accused him of being selfish.
When Michael asked if Chase felt better, Chase admitted that he did.
Michael acknowledged that when he thought Chase slept with Brook Lynn, he used the situation to try and let himself off the hook.
Chase put Michael to work helping him pack up boxes as the tension lifted slightly.
Back at Liz’s place, Dante arrived to ask questions about the portrait and assumed the same person who set the fire at the gallery must’ve put it there.
Liz suspected Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang) and showed Dante the gothic card, which he held onto before promising to look into Betsy’s whereabouts over the past couple months.
There was talk about whether Betsy might’ve contacted one of Liz’s sons, but Cameron said he hadn’t heard from her and thought it’d be weird if one of his younger brothers had.
Liz seemed unnerved at the thought of Betsy using one of her boys, so Dante suggested he’d keep a low profile in case they were involved.
Cameron offered to cancel his shift at Kelly’s since he didn’t want to leave Liz alone.
However, Finn ultimately decided to bunk there for a while and look out for Liz until she felt safe again.
General Hospital spoilers say Dante will try to sort through the facts of this strange case, so stay tuned.
