General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 10, teases that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will find themselves under attack while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) fight over Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Alexis Davis (temporarily played by Stephanie Erb) will also confess a secret, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Michael and Drew will face a bit of an ambush. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will launch a confrontation about the merger of Aurora Media and ELQ since he obviously disapproves.
Although Ned may propose another solution, Michael will feel like it’s more complicated at this point and requires drastic measures.
The merger will be the right call in Michael’s opinion – and Drew will back him up on that.
Nevertheless, Drew always like to keep the peace if possible, so he’ll wonder what he can do to ease Ned’s mind.
When Ned wants Drew to call off the merger completely, he’ll face some pushback.
Drew and Michael will try to find a way forward that makes everybody happy, but that won’t be easy.
Ned feels like he’s being shoved aside and will remain concerned about his role if this merger happens.
At Kelly’s, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will rip into Cameron Webber (William Lipton) for his apparent support of Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Of course, Trina and Josslyn don’t realize Cam is in cahoots with scheming Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), who’s working to expose Esme as the person behind the cabin video leak.
Cameron will do his best to navigate this tricky situation, but it’ll get even tougher after the latest round of backlash.
Josslyn won’t understand why Cam would hurt Trina by showing Esme kindness – not when she’s the psycho who’s trying to ruin all their lives!
Trina will ultimately visit the gallery, where she’ll vent to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and get some advice.
Ava will think Trina should make a romantic play for Spencer – just to get a jealous reaction out of Esme and trip her up.
After Trina hears Ava’s pitch to trap Esme, she’ll worry it could end badly.
Trina doesn’t want to come across as some sleazy man-stealer when she’s trying to convince everyone she’s innocent.
As Trina opens up to Ava, she’ll allude to an alibi that could help her case while making trouble for someone else.
Trina will be talking about her cemetery run-in with Spencer, who got out of Spring Ridge for a bit with Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) help.
Although Trina doesn’t want to add to Spencer’s legal woes, that encounter could benefit her outcome in court.
Trina was busy having a graveside encounter, not posting the cabin video and humiliating her friends on campus.
Ava won’t get all the details, but she may hear enough to know Trina is protecting Spencer.
Considering everything that’s going on, maybe Trina needs to focus on protecting herself right now!
In Esme’s room, Spencer will keep digging for more discoveries.
There’s a good chance Spencer will read one or more of Maggie Fitzgerald’s letters, so he may find out that Esme has a dangerous bio dad in New York.
Maggie is Esme’s former nanny and has already become a big part of Esme’s storyline.
It looks like Maggie will arrive in Port Charles down the road, but she’ll remain an offscreen factor for now.
As for Spencer, he’ll be taken aback when Esme finds him rummaging in her room. Spencer may manage to cover, but that won’t stop Esme from growing suspicious.
We’ll see Esme and Spencer play some mind games – just to find out exactly how much they know about each other’s plans.
At Charlie’s Pub, Carly will join Nina at a table for some serious clashing.
Sonny will become a significant topic of conversation, so Carly will point out that she still talks to her ex-hubby and always will.
Carly won’t want anyone thinking she can just be shoved aside.
Even if Carly doesn’t want Sonny in her life romantically anymore, they’ll forever be connected through their children and rich history.
Carly has already warned Nina about being the flavor of the month, so she might revisit that idea and warn that Sonny will get bored with Nina eventually.
As for Nina’s fight against Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Carly will do whatever it takes to protect them – especially after that promise she made to Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel).
Speaking of Harmony, Willow still has more questions about her fill-in mom – and Alexis will find herself in a position to answer them.
Alexis will admit Harmony came clean to her about the illegal adoption, so that’ll lead to the commune birth story coming out.
According to Harmony, a pregnant woman named Joan showed up on the commune in Colorado. After giving birth, Joan supposedly abandoned her child.
A man named Josiah led the group known as Friends of Peace and Love, so his followers listened to his so-called prophetic words of wisdom.
Josiah pushed Harmony and Douglas Miller to raise Willow as their own – at least based on the false tale Harmony told.
Willow will wonder how much of Harmony’s story is accurate under the circumstances.
Most of it has to be completely made up knowing what we now know about Willow and her twin sister, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).
Alexis will acknowledge that Harmony told a mountain of lies, but she may truly believe Harmony loved Willow.
Although that could console Willow’s broken heart, it won’t satisfy her desire for answers.
Willow will decide to take charge and find out more about her biological parents.
That means moving forward with a DNA test and taking the first steps toward uncovering the truth.
Willow will be especially interested in learning more about her birth mother and perhaps reuniting with her.
Little does Willow know her birth mom is right there in Port Charles – and she happens to be Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) fierce grandma.
General Hospital spoilers say some bombs will drop on Nina and Willow when the time is right.
