General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, May 17, tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will have a showdown while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) makes a surprise investment. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will also intercept Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) new pills, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At Leo Quartermaine’s (Easton Rocket Sweda) birthday party, he’ll offer another reminder to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about his promise to sing.
Chase will assure Leo that he’s going to keep his end of the bargain, but trouble’s on the horizon.
Someone has been lurking nearby – and that someone should soon be revealed as Linc Brown (Dan Buran), the slimy music producer who harassed Brook Lynn in the past.
Linc is back to cause more drama, so he’ll watch and wait for his perfect moment to strike.
Until then, Chase will tell Brook Lynn that all will be revealed in due time.
Brook Lynn may be wondering whether Chase will sing Fly Me to the Moon like Leo suggested or perhaps pick another tune to croon.
Regardless, some tension is brewing since GH’s weekly preview video shows Brook Lynn storming off on Chase.
It’s clear that Chase and Brook Lynn are taking a long, complicated road to romance!
At Wyndemere, Esme will continue to manipulate Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
We’ll see Esme act appalled over Ava’s treatment of Nikolas as she takes the next step in her seduction efforts.
Esme will play up Nikolas’ devotion to his family even more and wonder why Ava can’t appreciate that.
By the end of this conversation, Esme will hope she’s made progress in pulling Nikolas closer.
As for Ava, she’ll talk about someone being in the vast minority.
Ava might end up walking in on a close moment and acting like Nikolas is one of the few people who supports Esme at all.
Whatever the case, Ava and Esme will have a major showdown that’s sure to bring some serious hostility.
Esme may passionately defend Nikolas and impress him in the process.
Next, Carly will overhear Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) conversation about needing investors.
Carly will insist they can count her in, so Michael and Drew will listen to her surprising offer.
Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll hope to work out a mutually beneficial arrangement with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
Valentin will ask if there’s something they can do so that they both get what they want.
Ned wasn’t happy with Michael and Drew’s COO offer, so he’ll seriously consider teaming up with the enemy now.
Valentin will work hard to get Ned on board with a new plan – one that could put a giant roadblock in Drew and Michael’s path.
When Felty (Brian Norris) the paparazzo shows up elsewhere demanding his memory card, Gladys will corner him alone and ask what’s in it for them.
Felty will whip out a fresh pill supply for Sasha and act like he’s coming through for her like they talked about.
That’ll give Gladys confirmation that Sasha has been using again and leave her concerned.
As for Sasha, she’ll blame herself for Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) death and leave Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) worried as well.
Johnny will try to convince Sasha that what happened to Harmony wasn’t her fault and lift her spirits.
Unfortunately, Sasha will soon face a different problem when Gladys confronts her about the pills in private.
Gladys will want answers – and so will Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) on a different topic when she catches up with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) across town.
Sam may wonder if Spencer knows anything that could help clear Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name, so could Spencer trust Sam with information on Maggie the nanny?
Spencer has already been doing research online, but there’s no doubt that Sam would do a better job of finding additional info and perhaps even finding Maggie herself.
Sam might as well be the one to do some investigating and possibly bring Maggie to Port Charles.
General Hospital spoilers say Sam will juggle a few mysteries soon, so stay tuned.
