General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, October 11 Recap – Nik Reels Over Esme’s Pregnancy – Anna’s Arrest Plan Derailed

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 11, teases that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) reeled over Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) pregnancy reveal while Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) arrest plan was derailed.

In Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) suite, he was taken aback when a weepy Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) ran into his arms.

Lucy claimed she hadn’t been able to face Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) at the funeral and worried it was too late to give her the flowers she bought.

Victor reassured Lucy and sent Johann (Max Decker) down to deliver the flowers to the reception area.

In the meantime, Lucy played up how she felt safe with Victor and admired his confidence in his plans.

After Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) called Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for help, he couldn’t divulge too many details.

However, Valentin made it clear that this was for Charlotte Cassadine’s (Amelia McLain) safety, so Nina decided she was in.

Nina was tasked with calling Victor and convincing him to change rooms.

Valentin explained how Victor’s current room was checked for listening devices, so moving to this new already bugged room would buy him some time before it was discovered.

Nina did what she was told and offered Victor a phony water leak excuse.

Victor thought something seemed off, but Lucy mentioned spotting maintenance men downstairs to back up the lie.

Plus, Victor seemed to like the idea of the complimentary wine that was waiting for them, so he went along with the room change.

Nevertheless, Victor remained suspicious over Lucy’s earlier emotional outburst since it wasn’t like her.

Lucy acted like she was entitled to a bad day and wanted to hear about Victor’s secret plans as a way to calm down.

In Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) office, Anna needed him to arrange a warrant for Johann’s arrest.

Anna clarified that the charges didn’t have to stick; she just needed Johann detained for a while.

Robert wasn’t thrilled since Anna couldn’t divulge the whole story, but he caved in and was about to arrange for the warrant over the phone when Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) entered.

Once Anna took off, Deputy Mayor Ashby tried to figure out what Robert and Anna were up to this time.

Robert lied that they were just planning an Australian vacation for their granddaughter, but Deputy Mayor Ashby hinted about doing an internal review.

As Anna joined Valentin in eavesdropping on the bugged room, she missed a voicemail from Robert.

That message was about Robert being unable to arrest Johann, so he warned that the mission needed to be aborted.

Afterward on Tuesday’s GH episode, Victor was just about to spill some top-secret details to Lucy when Deputy Mayor Ashby called to alert him to a problem.

At Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) place, he refused to rat Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out despite his obvious injuries.

Dex told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that whoever said Sonny tried to harm him was a straight-up liar.

At the Metro Court Gardens, Sonny wanted to reach an understanding, but Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) felt it was too late for that.

Sonny insisted he would always love Michael, so he wanted to figure out a way to be a family again.

Since they had buried too many people already, Sonny was eager to end this cycle before it was too late.

Michael seemed to be softening a bit until Nina appeared, which reignited his anger and caused another shouting match with Sonny.

Dante arrived to break things up and chewed Michael out for lying about a crime.

Moments later, Dante received a call about the latest hook victim and said it looked like they had a serial killer on their hands.

After Dante and Michael left, Sonny talked to Nina about tightening security.

Nina couldn’t believe that Michael would stoop as low as lying to the police about Sonny’s actions.

Back with Michael, he stopped by Dex’s place and insisted Dex had Sonny right where he wanted him.

At Kelly’s, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) checked in with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) about the Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) news before talk turned to Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) comic book convention offer.

Trina pointed out it’d mean taking an overnight trip, so she thought back to the cabin drama and feared this trip would be a disaster, too.

Although Trina couldn’t shake the feeling that something horrible would happen, Ava wondered if she really wanted to let Esme dictate the rest of her life.

Trina admitted that she felt safe with Rory, but she worried that would change if they went away together.

Nevertheless, Trina found her courage in the end and decided that it helped that Rory was a cop.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas chased after Esme when she tried to run from him.

Esme ultimately turned around and taunted Nikolas about looking like he’d seen a ghost.

After Esme ranted about Ava and Nikolas leaving her for dead, she explained how a fisherman put her up in a Canadian hostel while she recovered.

Nikolas argued that Esme should’ve stayed out of the country since the cops were looking for her.

In fact, Nikolas thought the timing was suspicious considering Oz was just found dead.

Esme denied any wrongdoing and pointed out that Nikolas knew her intimately.

Although Esme touched Nik’s arm and tried to play the victim, he wasn’t buying it this time.

Nikolas noted that Oz, Ava and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) were all hook victims as well as people Esme felt had wronged her.

Since Nikolas thought she was back for revenge, Esme suggested that’d mean Nik was next.

In the end, Esme backed off and said she’d get out of Nikolas’ hair – though she pushed him to spot her a few grand.

Nikolas insisted he was calling the cops, but Esme threatened to tell them about the parapet incident.

Since Nik acted like no one would believe Esme, he stuck to his plan to notify the police.

Esme warned that Nikolas wasn’t going to do that, so he asked why not. Despite not planning to reveal this just yet, Esme said Nikolas had forced her hand.

“You are not going to call the cops on us…me and our baby,” Esme said as she opened her coat and revealed a baby bump to a stunned Nikolas.

General Hospital spoilers say Esme’s pregnancy shocker will put Nikolas in a tight spot, so stay tuned!
