General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, October 25 Recap – Peter’s Diamond Necklace – Ava Discovers Nik’s Letter Gone

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 25, reveals that Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) mysterious diamond necklace brought questions while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) discovered Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) letter confession was gone.

For starters, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was on hand as Britt opened Peter’s safe deposit box, which contained a massive diamond and ruby necklace.

Britt wondered where it came from and assumed it was stolen considering Peter was in possession of it.

Since Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) never could’ve kept this quiet, Britt assumed she didn’t know.

Cody used Britt’s compact mirror to see if the diamonds were real – and sure enough, they were since they scratched the mirror when Cody tested them.

After Cody pointed out the necklace was likely worth millions of dollars, Britt decided to leave it in the safe deposit box until she could figure out what to do with it.

Cody seemed reluctant to exit without the necklace and pointed out Britt could lose her key, but Britt put that key in her bra for safekeeping.

At GH, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) assured Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that he was cool with watching over his brothers while she was out of town with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

When Liz texted the details of where she’d be staying, Cam saw that it was in Monterey and insisted his mom couldn’t go there.

Although Cameron worried about Liz running into her parents, she argued there was no need to fret since it was a big place.

Elizabeth also didn’t want Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) spending the night while she was gone, but Cam scoffed that it wouldn’t be a problem.

When Liz wondered what was wrong, Cameron confessed that he’d struggled to find his footing with Joss in the video leak aftermath.

At Kelly’s, Josslyn once again urged Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to see that it was a mistake to pledge his loyalty to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

However, Dex acted like he needed the job and considered Sonny to be an honorable man.

Josslyn felt that Sonny had screwed over Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), so she didn’t want Dex to be next in line.

Once Cameron walked in and saw Dex sitting with Josslyn, he wondered what was up. Dex claimed he upset Josslyn with a comment he made about Sonny and took off.

After Joss was alone with Cameron, she admitted to knowing Dex better than she’d been letting on.

Josslyn came clean about rescuing Dex from Sonny’s meat hook, so Cam revealed that already knew thanks to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

Although Cam was confused about Josslyn leaving him in the dark, she acted like she didn’t want him caught up in mob dealings.

Cameron wanted to get back in sync, so Joss suggested some special couple time and hugged him – though she looked uneasy over his shoulder.

Back at the hospital, Terry acted like it was lucky her medical conference was happening somewhere so nice.

Liz was supposedly going as Terry’s plus one and planning to enjoy some spa time with her.

After Terry hyped up the trip, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) said he knew the real reason Terry was leaving with Liz.

Terry hoped Finn wouldn’t be mad, but he didn’t see why he would be.

Finn assumed Terry realized Liz needed a few days off and found a way to get her on board.

Terry and Finn talked about how this would give Liz a chance to think and get away.

Once Terry met up with Elizabeth, they discussed Liz’s true motives for the trip.

Elizabeth needed to get answers and uncover any buried secrets, but Terry worried it was a mistake to leave Finn out of the loop.

Nevertheless, Liz didn’t want to tell Finn until she knew more.

During this trip to Monterey, Elizabeth wanted to search Jeff Webber (William Moses) and Carolyn Webber’s (Denise Crosby) house alone for records of their time on the Mariana Islands.

At one point, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) brought Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) in, so she jumped in Finn’s arms and expressed excitement over Halloween costume shopping.

A little later, Violet was playing on Finn’s phone and found a picture of him with Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara), so she asked who the woman was.

Finn admitted he used to be married to Reiko, who passed away since she was very sick – and he couldn’t save her.

When Liz appeared, Violet admitted to making Finn sad.

Finn reassured Violet before she dashed off with Gregory, but Liz knew Finn was indeed sad over Reiko.

After Elizabeth gave Finn a pep talk and asked him to check on the boys while she was gone, she headed off on her journey with Terry.

When Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) came home and found Ava preparing a drink, she acknowledged that it was a little early and joined her anyway.

Nina wondered how long this roommate situation would go on since it seemed like Ava was looking for a place to hide.

Ava admitted to being torn about Nikolas since he handed over a confession to a crime she could’ve gone down for.

Nikolas gave Ava the means to ruin him – and she knew he’d lay down his life for her.

Although Ava wasn’t ready to forgive Nikolas, she wasn’t ready to give up on him either.

After Nina took a call, Ava pulled out what she assumed was Nikolas’ confession letter.

Instead, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had left behind a paper that simply asked if Ava was missing something.

Ava gaped in shock and fury once she realized the confession was gone.

At the Metro Court, Nikolas warned Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to let him end his marriage on his own time.

Victor insisted he was in charge here, but Nikolas hinted about how things had changed and acted like the Cassadine legacy was in his hands.

When Victor pushed for more information, Nikolas argued that Victor hadn’t told him about his own cryptic plan.

Victor refused to exchange info and ranted about Nikolas putting Ava above Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

Since Victor had influence over Spencer, he suggested he could help or hurt Nik’s relationship with him.

When that threat didn’t work, Victor pulled out the confession letter to use as leverage. One way or another, Victor vowed to take Nikolas out!

General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas and Victor’s battle will heat up, so stay tuned for more Cassadine chaos.
