General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, September 13 Recap – Hook Villain Targets Josslyn, Gets Brando Instead – Sasha Signs Guardianship

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 13, reveals that the hook villain targeted Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) before getting Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) instead. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) also signed the guardianship, so here’s how all the drama went down.

In Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) office, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) pointed out that his attorney said he was still married to Jordan, but he didn’t understand why.

Since Curtis was convinced someone at the clerk’s office screwed up, he refused to let this go. Jordan piped up to tell Curtis that she knew what happened.

After Jordan said she thought she filed the papers, she lied that she misplaced the envelope and lost track of it. Curtis acted like this was irresponsible, so Jordan was sorry for complicating things and wanted to help his new nuptials go smoothly.

Once Curtis said they’d draw up new papers and refile, he left in a huff. Stella wondered why on earth Jordan would cover for her, but Jordan saw no reason to cause problems between Stella and Curtis or Stella and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

Once talk turned to Stella’s ancestry site, Jordan fished to find out the name of it. Later, Jordan called and learned there was no way a glitch was to blame for the original match. Someone also would’ve had to have withdrawn their info from the site for it to disappear.

At the Metro Court pool, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) stopped Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) since he owed him an apology. Drew was sorry for setting Marshall up on that fake job interview, but Marshall understood that he was trying to be a good friend to Curtis.

At Charlie’s Pub, Josslyn met up with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) ahead of her Aruba trip for the corporate seminar. Carly knew Josslyn had quite a few distractions right now – and just then, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) walked in and locked eyes with Joss.

Although she feared this was a bad time to leave town, Carly really did want to get her life back on track in every way. That led to Carly flashing back to Drew telling her not to be afraid and pulling her into a kiss.

At GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) wondered what changed for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and why she suddenly wanted to tell the cops the truth now. Since Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) offered an alibi so quickly, Liz considered the possibility that it was meant to protect Nik.

Although Elizabeth wasn’t sure whether she’d tell the police about missing time, Finn pointed out that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) could still be in danger. Liz realized Ava needed to know the real story, so Finn asked if she was going to tell her.

In Ava’s room, she struggled to rest as she flashed back to her attack and looked wary of someone entering now. Portia showed up to check on Ava, who saw the engagement ring and was happy for her.

Ava admitted things had gotten so bad with Nikolas that she’d considered whether he was the one who stabbed her. Portia thought it was horrible that Ava even had to entertain that notion.

Ava also questioned if Liz would lie to cover for Nikolas, but Portia didn’t think she’d deceive the police. However, Ava argued that maybe Liz was being manipulated and said Nikolas was capable of very bad behavior.

By the elevator, Sonny warned Nikolas that he had no business there. If Nikolas got within five feet of Ava’s room, Sonny insisted Nik wouldn’t like what happened.

Sonny added that if he found proof that Nikolas had something to do with Ava’s attack, even Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) wouldn’t be able to help him.

After Sonny got on the elevator, he asked if Nikolas was coming. Nikolas told Sonny to “go to hell,” but Sonny said that’s exactly where Nik would be going if gave one look at Ava.

Once Nikolas was alone, he called someone and insisted a situation had come up. Nikolas wanted this person to get to GH right away.

Back with Ava, she was still talking to Portia when she heard an angry Nikolas insisting no one would stop him from seeing his wife. Nikolas had an associate to serve as muscle and warned Portia that he had no idea what he was capable of.

Just outside Ava’s room, Curtis asked if there was a problem and fumed over Nik threatening his fiancée. Since the police were on their way, Curtis convinced Nikolas to leave – though Nik argued that this wasn’t over.

In the aftermath, Curtis gave Portia updates on the divorce papers and how Jordan forgot to file before the paperwork got thrown away. Since Jordan’s story didn’t add up, Curtis had to wonder if she’d intentionally messed up their divorce plans.

On the way out of Charlie’s Pub, Carly ran into Sonny and got reassurance that the girls would be fine while she was gone. Sonny wished Carly good luck on her trip, so she thanked him.

Over with Sasha, Brando and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), they all met with someone about Sasha’s guardianship.

Sasha learned this would put Brando in charge of her finances and medical care. It also meant Sasha would avoid prison time as long as she agreed to the guardianship and did outpatient therapy.

Only Brando had the power to terminate this guardianship, which Brando reminded Sasha was completely up to her. Although Sasha struggled to sign her life away like this, she ultimately chose to trust Brando and put her signature down.

Sonny met with Dex at Charlie’s Pub before Sasha, Brando and Gladys walked in. In a moment alone, Brando admitted to Sonny that Sasha just agreed to a guardianship and signed her entire life over to him. Sonny knew Brando would do right by Sasha and gave him a hug.

While Sasha was in the restroom, Gladys offered praise for what a wonderful man Brando had turned into. Brando was proud of Gladys as well and held hands with her as they expressed their love.

Sonny also cornered Sasha nearby and made sure that she knew she was family to him like Brando.

Back with Josslyn, she approached Dex and got him to agree his involvement in the dumpster dive would stay between them.

On Carly’s flight, she was instructed to put her phone in airplane mode. Carly decided to call Drew before she did and got his voicemail.

By the Metro Court pool again, Drew wrapped up his conversation with Marshall and saw that Carly had called. After Drew listened to Carly’s voicemail, he learned she’d been doing some thinking and wanted him to call her back.

Drew left Carly a voicemail of his own, but Carly’s plane hit some turbulence and left her looking fearful as it jolted down.

Once Elizabeth visited Ava’s room with Finn by her side, she admitted she couldn’t guarantee she was with Nikolas at the time of the attack. Finn hinted that things were complicated, but Liz just wanted Ava to be safe and asked for time to figure out all the facts.

Afterward, Ava summoned Frank the guard and wanted him to do something for her. Frank later brought Nikolas in so that Ava could question him.

As for Elizabeth, she was determined to get to the bottom of her trauma and hinted to Finn that she knew how.

After Dex left Charlie’s Pub, Josslyn followed him into the alley since he forgot his sunglasses. Brando said he had to check on something, so Sasha told him to hurry back and offered a kiss.

The hook-toting villain stalked Josslyn before Brando appeared. As rain poured down on a shocked Brando, the mysterious baddie raised the hook and plunged it toward him.
