General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, September 20, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a shocking encounter while Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) death rocks Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also make an urgent call, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
For starters, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will remind Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) that even the darkest secret can’t stay a secret.
Sooner or later, the truth almost always comes out in Port Charles!
However, Jordan will be less concerned about the fact that she’s covering for Stella and more concerned about the lie Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is telling Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Portia is hiding Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity, so that shocker will inevitably blow up down the road.
In the meantime, Curtis will get defensive with someone before Portia spreads some upsetting news.
Of course, that upsetting news will undoubtedly relate to Brando’s sudden turn for the worse.
Brando was talking about the future and kissing Sasha just moments ago.
Unfortunately, Brando then coughed up blood and had a seizure that led to his monitors going haywire.
Although Brando’s medical team will work frantically to save him, their efforts won’t be successful.
GH’s weekly preview video offers proof since the newspaper confirms Brando is survived by his wife and mother.
Sasha will pray for another chance to get her life together and find happiness again with Brando.
Sadly, devastation is on the way once Sasha and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) learn Brando didn’t make it.
After Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) rants about the lunatic out there with a hook, he’ll consult with Portia on Brando’s case.
The medical report will bring a horrifying discovery at some point this week, so that could reveal a toxin in Brando’s system and expose just how sinister this baddie is.
Next, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will talk to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and perhaps act like they need to do a little investigating of their own.
Alexis will initially balk at teaming up with Gregory, but he should convince her they need to work together and find out everything they can for the public’s sake.
As for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’ll get on the phone and urge someone to call him as soon as he or she can.
That could be Sonny’s attempt to give Carly updates on what happened since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was so close to the situation.
Since Carly lost her phone, she won’t be getting any calls from Sonny just yet.
Carly will have a surprising encounter while traveling instead, so Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may find some way to track her down.
Tuesday’s preview clip shows Carly asking what someone is doing there.
Although Carly seems a bit distressed, it could just be due to the shock of seeing Drew in an unfamiliar place.
Then again, it’s also possible Carly will have a run-in with someone else and set the stage for Drew’s rescue later.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Carly will tackle a new challenge – and all signs point to Drew helping her soon enough.
Over with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she’ll remain under hypnosis and will uncover as much of her buried trauma as she can.
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will ask who Liz sees as she tries to put all the staircase tumble clues together.
Back with Sonny, he’ll bump into an older man named George (Michael Flynn). Sonny will sense that George is lost in thought, so maybe the two of them will connect over people they’ve lost.
Sonny will think back on memories of Mike Corbin (Max Gail) as he faces the loss of Brando, so some sad moments are on the way.
