General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 20, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a mystery meeting while Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) offers a warning about the lunatic with a hook. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and her medical team also won’t be able to save Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
First, Sasha will panic all over again now that Brando has suffered a seizure.
Although Sasha will pray for another opportunity to rebuild her life with Brando, she’ll lose him forever instead.
GH spoilers confirm that Port Charles will grieve a sudden death – and the show’s weekly promo provides confirmation that it’s Brando.
A closer look at the hook newspaper story reveals that Brando has succumbed to his injuries and perished.
After Finn warns about the hook-toting lunatic on the loose, he’ll join Portia in discussing Brando’s case.
Since Brando declined so rapidly, Portia and Finn will work together to figure out why it happened.
Of course, the real answers won’t come until Finn and Portia get the full medical report.
It appears the hook villain took precautions to make sure Brando died by poisoning, so Portia and Finn will make an unsettling discovery at some point this week.
Until then, Sasha and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will face a crushing blow.
The news of Brando’s death will send shockwaves and force Sonny to think back on another difficult loss.
Sonny will remember Mike Corbin (Max Gail) and perhaps reflect on how tough it was to say goodbye.
Fortunately, Sonny could get some help with his latest farewell since an older man named George (Michael Flynn) will pop up for a profound conversation.
It might be an interesting twist if George knew Mike from years ago.
Then again, maybe George will be suffering the loss of his wife or someone else who’s dear to him.
Regardless, Sonny will have this mysterious meeting with George and walk away with some words of wisdom.
As for Mike, there’s always a chance that he’ll return in spirit form with Liam Corbin and take Brando into the great beyond.
Over with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), she’ll assure Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) that her secret is safe for now.
Even so, Jordan will warn that secrets can’t stay hidden and may start to question if it’s a good for Stella to bury what she did.
It’s be better for Stella to come clean about her blunder with the divorce papers, but Jordan will apparently put the ball in her court.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will remain irritated with Jordan in the meantime, but Portia will be busy spreading the word about Brando’s demise and trying to make sense of how this happened.
Next, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will open up to Stella, so that could be about the tension he’s picking up on between Jordan and Curtis.
However, TJ will eventually have another reason to confide since he’ll face the shock of losing Brando, which will sting twice as hard since he’s both a patient and a friend.
Elsewhere, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will have another proposition for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to consider.
It looks like Alexis will reluctantly agree to join forces and nail down some answers regarding the hook killer.
In Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) office, he’ll take Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) even deeper in her hypnosis session.
Liz will be asked who she sees, so she’ll try to push past her memory block and unlock another piece of the puzzle.
Meanwhile, Sonny will make a call and push someone to get back to him ASAP.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) lost her own phone, so Sonny might reach her voicemail after trying to get in touch regarding Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)
As for Carly, GH fans know her flight to Aruba was derailed. That left Carly stranded in Jacksonville, but we’ll see where Carly is when the show rejoins her.
No matter what Carly’s location is, she’s going to run into somebody familiar.
Whether that’s Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) or someone else, Drew indeed seems poised to enter the picture as a rescuer at some point.
Carly will have questions after a surprise arrival and will kick off a new mission soon enough.
