General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may learn that he must murder Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to save Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain). Will Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) offer his son a twisted choice?
If Victor figures out Valentin and Anna are plotting against him, there’s going to be big trouble.
Since Anna will come up with a plan and face a major setback, that could lead to Victor discovering the truth.
Valentin is worried about what might happen to Charlotte if their scheme is exposed, but Victor is all about family.
It’s just tough to believe Victor would murder an innocent young girl who could be the very future of the Cassadine clan.
Why would Victor want to kill one of his own, especially since Charlotte is young enough to be molded into the devious kind of Cassadine he wants?
Deep down, Victor wouldn’t want to kill Valentin either. That’s Victor’s son – and Valentin has too much potential to waste.
Victor’s best option would be to take Valentin down a sinister road that he can’t come back from.
This would be Victor’s chance to prove that Valentin is more like him than he’s willing to admit.
That brings us to Valentin and Anna’s rather disturbing conversation in the September 26 episode.
Let’s look at the specific dialogue since it could offer a glimpse of what’s in store. When Anna asked if Valentin could kill her, he gave a very blunt response.
“Yeah, I’d kill you…if I had to to save Charlotte, just as you would kill me to save Robin,” Valentin insisted.
Anna confirmed that she indeed would, though she lightened things up afterward by admitting she’d miss Valentin if she did.
Of course, that whole discussion could be a setup for Valentin to face the scenario he presented.
We know Victor will come up with some horrible new scheme – and we’re betting it’ll involve an impossible ultimatum.
GH spoilers say Victor will have an offer for Valentin to mull over, so he may have to choose whether he wants Charlotte or Anna to live.
Perhaps Victor will only be willing to spare Charlotte and grant her freedom if Valentin murders Anna.
The week of October 10-14 will put Valentin in a tight spot, but he’d never kill Anna unless it was absolutely necessary.
Instead, Valentin may come up with an alternative strategy to outwit Victor and save both of the most important people in his life.
