General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) may make Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) a dangerous enemy. Will Victor play with fire and get burned?
Victor has a habit of thinking he’s the smartest and most powerful man in any room.
GH fans know that Victor has a giant ego and underestimates some enemies as a result.
That could be the case with Sonny, who’ll become increasingly fixated on getting to the bottom of what happened to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
Sonny may not view Ava as a friend, but they’re on much better terms these days.
Regardless, Ava is important to Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and that makes Ava important to Sonny, too.
Hurting Ava hurts Sonny’s daughter – and he’s not going to let anybody get away with that!
During the week of September 5-9, Victor will have a tense meeting with Sonny.
We’ll no doubt hear Sonny make some accusations and threats since he knows the despicable lengths Cassadines will go to.
Of course, Victor is a master of deflection, so he might act like Sonny himself might’ve gone after Ava.
You can bet that this showdown will get heated, but Sonny will want to make it perfectly clear where he stands.
It’s easy to imagine Sonny warning that if he finds proof Victor or Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) tried to kill Ava, he’ll return the deadly favor.
Sonny will definitely take a menacing approach and try to help Victor understand what’s at stake.
Victor may not take Sonny seriously as a threat, but perhaps he should!
Sonny will apparently settle on Nikolas as the most likely culprit and may assume Victor is covering for him.
That could leave Sonny tempted to seek revenge on both despicable Cassadine men.
At the very least, Sonny could pull some strings and try to revive Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) plan to have Victor deported.
The point is Victor will probably underestimate Sonny and what he’s capable of.
Victor is making a dangerous enemy out of Sonny, so he’s playing with fire and could ultimately get burned.
General Hospital spoilers say Victor and Sonny’s confrontation will bring some fierce moments, so stay tuned.
