General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) weather machine will unleash a heatwave on Port Charles, so there’ll be a boiling hot surprise for February. Here’s what viewers can look forward to in the coming weeks.
Victor has alluded to troubling plans that’ll no doubt spell big trouble for PC.
Although Victor hasn’t been willing to share the details with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he wants the Cassadines to come together.
Victor has ominously pointed out that they’ll need each other for what’s looming.
Valentin is stuck in captivity at the moment, but he’ll get back in the action eventually.
There’ll be more father-son drama once Valentin realizes exactly what Victor is up to.
As for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), perhaps Victor made sure he was locked away at cushy Spring Ridge to protect him.
It’s interesting that Spencer will be in the slammer right as Victor’s scheme literally heats up!
Regardless, the show appears to be going for a throwback storyline with the reintroduction of the Ice Princess.
That diamond once tied in with a weather machine storyline that brought a major blizzard to Port Charles.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has a hunch that Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death, the counterfeit Ice Princess and Victor’s return are all connected.
It looks like Laura is right since we know Victor “neutralized” Luke so he could move forward with the next phase of the plan.
Victor presumably intends to use the real Ice Princess for nefarious purposes.
It seems Victor will bring back the weather machine as a weapon – though GH writers have a heatwave in mind instead of a deep freeze.
February is normally pretty cold in New York, but it’ll be downright sweltering this year.
Of course, this could be some sort of test run ahead of something far worse.
We also have to consider how PC residents might react to the unseasonably warm temperature. It could lead to some stripped-down situations and steamy flying sparks!
Whatever the case, this heatwave will first strike on February 18 and set the stage for Victor’s disturbing next steps. As other GH news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop.
