General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 13, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will face a dangerous threat – and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will want answers. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also find that she can’t resist snooping, so that’ll land her in hot water.
First, we should note that the episode originally meant for Tuesday, April 12, was preempted for ongoing breaking news coverage.
That episode has been bumped to Wednesday, April 13, so be sure to keep this schedule change in mind.
Now let’s get to all the action happening in Port Charles.
There’ll be major hostility playing out at the gallery, where Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will admit something that sets Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) off.
Spencer will lash out when he realizes Trina told Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) that he was her alibi.
It could potentially bolster Trina’s case since the video went public while she was busy scolding Spencer in the cemetery.
Spencer trusted Trina to keep his little jailbreak a secret, but she has to spill anything that might help her case.
Besides, Spencer’s lack of loyalty lately doesn’t exactly offer an incentive to protect him.
Spencer is standing by Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) instead, so Trina will have to wonder why.
Trina will argue with Spencer over his poor judgment and wish he could live up to the potential she thought he had.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will hang out with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house.
Joss will enjoy a make-out session with Cam until she hears something that startles her.
That should lead to Cameron investigating outside and perhaps worrying this is another stalker incident.
However, GH spoilers point to more video backlash instead.
It sounds like some college hooligans might play a cruel prank and offer a reminder about the steamy scandal – as if Cam and Joss could forget!
Josslyn and Cameron will wish they could just move on with their lives, but all this drama will bring romantic setbacks instead.
Next, Esme will offer reassurance to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Esme will act like she knows for a fact something will work out, so she may suggest Nikolas can fix things with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and rebuild his relationship with Spencer, too.
Of course, Esme actually intends to destroy Nikolas and Ava’s marriage.
Esme will keep taking steps to make that happen, but she’d better watch her back since so many people are out to get her.
Meanwhile, Sam will quiz Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Trina’s case and worry about an innocent girl going to prison.
Dante will make it clear that true justice will be served. He’ll intend to make certain of that, but Ava won’t think it’s happening fast enough.
Ava will find Dante and voice her outrage over Trina’s predicament.
Ava will think the PCPD are proving useless and will want Dante to put Esme behind bars instead.
While Dante’s trying to calm Ava down, Sam will realize he’s left his phone unattended.
Sam will try to sneak a peek at the forensics report email, but a disappointed Dante will find Sam resorting to this dirty trick.
Other GH spoilers say Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have a family meal with Liesl that includes some love life pestering.
Liesel knows Britt still misses Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), but there are plenty of other fish in the sea.
Obrecht will hope Britt finds the perfect man through that matchmaking subscription she gave her.
Since Britt is finally trying to find some matches, she should have some progress to report when her nagging mother asks.
At Charlie’s Pub, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will try to put Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) mind at ease.
Sasha will fear she pressured Brando into tying the knot, but he’ll promise he’s all in and will want to discuss the next steps.
Brando and Sasha already realized they need to work out some new living arrangements.
They should have a follow-up conversation about their home together and could perhaps give themselves room to grow.
Brando won’t want to upset Sasha, but it’s possible they’ll gently address the possibility of more children.
Regardless, Brando will want Sasha to know that he’s in this for the long haul – for better or for worse.
As for Sonny, he’ll make a pitch to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy). Sonny will seek Phyllis’ help, but he’ll want to offer something in return.
It’s possible Sonny will ask Phyllis to vouch for Nina’s character in court – though Phyllis surely wouldn’t need much arm twisting for that.
Regardless, Sonny’s offer might involve Phyllis running the bar like he suggested before.
Sonny may insist he’s juggling too much as it is and push Phyllis to help him by becoming the official owner of Charlie’s Pub.
Nina will encourage Nina to strike a deal with Sonny, so Phyllis may be willing to shake on it soon.
Unfortunately, Charlie’s Pub will be targeted by some apparent thief wearing a mask.
There’s a chance this guy will have mob ties and go after Sonny specifically, but the point is some danger is about to erupt.
Sonny will fight off the attack with Brando’s assistance over the next couple episodes, so he’ll see just how valuable Brando is.
That could lead to Sonny making Brando an offer he can’t refuse when it comes to replacing Jason in an enforcer role.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will have some new fires to put out, so keep watching!
