General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 20, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will take a prisoner while Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) get arrested. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will also demand the truth from Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
For starters, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will tell someone about her growing suspicions. “You are suspect number one,” Laura says in Wednesday’s preview video.
Of course, we know Laura will talk to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) at some point, so she might be trying to get inside Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) head – just getting Ava’s opinion on what she’d do if she were in Victor’s shoes.
Ava may agree that Jennifer Smith’s (Holly Gagner) sounds like a very Victor-like thing to do.
Ava will hope that maybe they can get rid of Victor and have him take Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) with him.
Laura certainly doesn’t believe Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is capable of leaking that steamy video.
Laura will no doubt agree with Ava when it comes to Esme’s guilt and hope that true justice is served eventually.
Speaking of justice getting served, Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) is about to make a double arrest.
Cameron will threaten to tell the truth if Spencer doesn’t come clean about his plot to bring Esme down.
Spencer won’t want to spill anything to Trina or Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) since he feels it could put his plan in jeopardy.
Instead, Spencer will insult Josslyn with some horrible statement and leave Cam furious enough to punch him.
Rory will witness the incident and decide to take them both into custody, so Cameron and Spencer are on the verge of getting arrested.
As for Esme, she’ll worry that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has changed his mind about her.
Esme will keep hoping to pull Nikolas closer, but it’s looking more and more like Nikolas playing Esme like Spencer.
Nevertheless, Nikolas will assure Esme that he’s on her side and will give her a pep talk.
Back with Ava, she’ll meet with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who’ll offer some big news and a warning.
Nina might discuss the robbery at Charlie’s Pub and the potential for more mob drama.
That’s something Ava should probably know due to Sonny’s connection to Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Whatever the case, Nina will urge Ava to stay on guard.
As for Sonny, he’ll speak to someone about what he considers to be a closed case.
However, Sonny will actually be plotting a major mob move that’s meant to reestablish his power.
GH’s weekly promo shows Sonny letting out a crazy laugh while someone’s tied up in a car trunk.
It looks like Sonny will resort to kidnapping as part of his plan, so he might snatch one of the robbers or even someone higher up in their organization.
Sonny may connect the dots and take matters into his own hands to show no one gets away with targeting Sonny Corinthos!
At the Metro Court, Alexis will wonder what’s up with drunk Harmony, who just canceled Alexis’ cranberry and soda order.
Harmony argued that Alexis would have what she’s having, so she’s clearly plastered if she’s tempting her alcoholic friend like this.
Alexis will question Harmony’s behavior and perhaps grow suspicious of why she’s being so protective of that bag.
Since Harmony is so intoxicated, there’s the potential for her to spill her purse and panic over the incriminating file.
Regardless, Harmony will eventually get up to leave, which will send Alexis chasing after her.
There’ll be some tense moments as Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) appears and wonders if everything’s all right.
Alexis may insist she was just taking Harmony home – and once they make it back to Alexis’ place, she’ll push Harmony to reveal what’s wrong.
When Harmony insists that she’s terrified, Alexis will want to know who exactly she’s terrified of.
Harmony will come close to blabbing the whole ugly Brendon Byrne (Josh Coxx) story, especially since she’ll still be inebriated.
Before Harmony can confess, she’ll change her mind and manage to cover up the truth for now.
Next, Carly will once again apologize for getting Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) into trouble with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), but Sam will take responsibility for snooping since she made that call.
Since the damage is done, Carly will wonder if Sam at least found something that could help Trina.
Sam may admit she decided against looking into the details after her betrayal, but the cops don’t have anything that could firmly point to Esme yet anyway.
The investigation will continue, so let’s hope Esme will get tripped up one way or another.
