General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, April 6 Recap – Anna Joins Ice Princess Auction – Ava Won’t Share Nik’s Bed

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 6, reveals that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) joined the Ice Princess auction in French Polynesia while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) refused to share Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) bed. Here’s how all Wednesday’s GH drama went down.

At Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) new place, they had a little housewarming party with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Trina was distracted over her legal issues, so TJ got her to open up about how she was really feeling and was able to relate.

Even so, Trina was hung up on the fact that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) doubted her.

Meanwhile, Drew quizzed Curtis about the Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) investigation and was glad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) turned him down on using his resources to dig.

Drew didn’t think Marshall needed to owe the mob any favors, so Curtis flashed back to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) making a pitch about her poker games and looked pensive.

Stella admitted people didn’t move in together this fast back in her day, but she still seemed happy for Curtis and Portia.

Stella mentioned her previous fears about Curtis moving on too fast after the divorce papers were signed.

Stella then had a hazy flashback of stealing those divorce papers and felt off her game.

As for Portia, she worried about Trina’s future being destroyed or at least tainted over something she didn’t do.

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) eventually showed up, so TJ admitted he invited him.

Curtis worked Buenos Aires into the conversation to gauge Marshall’s reaction – and Marshall indeed seemed uncomfortable as he excused himself on the patio.

Stella came outside to chew Marshall out for pill-popping and acted like this could lead to the truth about his past coming out.

Stella didn’t want everything to blow up in her face, but Marshall made it clear that he was focused on his own relationship with his family.

Portia tried to round everyone up for a photo, but Stella became disoriented nearby.

Stella’s vision blurred before she collapsed – leaving a panicked Curtis to rush to her side.

At Wyndemere, Ava spoke with Nikolas alone and insisted this was her house, too.

Ava refused to be driven out by Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and was genuinely disappointed to see Nikolas falling for her “poor abandoned waif act.”

Since Nikolas insisted on protecting Esme, Ava refused to share a bed with him while that was happening.

Ava intended to stay in one of the guestrooms or cottages on the property until Nikolas could open his eyes to what Esme was doing.

Over with Esme, she pushed Spencer to admit he’d been falling in love with another girl.

Spencer acknowledged his complicated feelings for Trina, but he didn’t want Esme to leave either.

Esme didn’t want to just be roommates and hoped they could get their relationship back on track.

Spencer wasn’t there yet, but he told Esme they could figure this out one step at a time and pulled her close as she cried.

At the Metro Court, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) sent a discreet text and offered updates to Johann on his brief trip overseas.

Johann was concerned about it looking like Victor was fleeing the country, but Victor insisted there’d be someone else to blame for Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death soon.

When Laura Collins (Genie Francis) met up with Victor, she revealed that Esme wasn’t pregnant and objected to how he offered to “handle” that for Spencer.

Victor defended his actions and acted like he wanted to unite with Laura toward a common goal.

At the boxing gym, Selina found Sonny and pitched the idea of expanding into the area of gambling.

Selena vowed to give Sonny a cut of the profits, so he agreed – though he was very adamant about shutting the whole thing down if drugs were involved.

There was also talk about the threat on the West Coast that could become a problem, so Selina and Sonny vowed to keep each other in the loop.

As for Anna, she was concerned since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) still wasn’t back in town and wasn’t returning her calls.

Anna joined Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) for a discussion about what Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) had found.

A diamond had gone on the black market that matched the description of the Ice Princess.

After Anna inherited a large sum of money from Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) she admitted she turned most of it into cryptocurrency.

Anna offered that up so that they could secure a chance to bid – and soon after, Anna indeed scored an invite to the auction in French Polynesia.

Once Anna was ready to take off on her trip there, she left another voicemail for Valentin since she was so worried.

In French Polynesia, Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) spoke to her “darling” over the phone and mentioned the very important business she had to attend to.

Jennifer was determined to get the Ice Princess that belonged to her dear late ex-husband – though she insisted she was committed to moving on.

Jennifer also felt that acquiring this diamond would send a message to the entire underworld and would allow them to expedite expansion plans.

It was only a matter of time until they could strike right at the heart of Port Charles.

After Jennifer ordered up another drink, Valentin appeared wearing a disguise and spoke with a fake accent.

Valentin offered to buy Jennifer’s drink and asked if the seat next to her was taken.

General Hospital spoilers say Jennifer and Valentin’s conversation is sure to be entertaining, so stay tuned!
