General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 3, tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will ask Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to spy on Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) while jailed Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) makes his one phone call. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also dump Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) despite not really being together yet, so here’s what fans can expect.
First, it looks like Trina will catch Rory off guard by suggesting they should just be friends.
Rory obviously wants more than that and may hold out hope that Trina will change her mind, but she’s clearly overwhelmed right now.
Of course, whatever Trina still feels for Spencer is complicating the situation.
The most important thing is facing the verdict ahead, so Trina will mostly want to focus on that – not the whole dating scene.
At the PCPD, Spencer will use his one phone call to reveal that he was just arrested.
Since Spencer will turn to someone for help, perhaps he’ll hope Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) can get him out of another jam.
Until then, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will grill Spencer and let him know he’s in some serious trouble due to his escape confession in court.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will continue to debate the Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) cover-up.
Although Nikolas is insisting no one has to know anything, Ava may worry about this secret blowing up in their faces.
However, Nikolas may remind Ava that she just found out he cheated with a woman she already loathed.
“If that’s not motive for murder, I don’t know what is,” Nikolas tells Ava in Wednesday’s preview video.
Nikolas will still think their best strategy is to contain this, so that means lying to any curious cops as well as Spencer.
Luckily, Nikolas wasn’t able to spill the Esme betrayal news to his son, so he can keep that shocker under wraps.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will angrily confront Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and insist she has a right to know as his girlfriend.
It sounds like Cam will finally face backlash for secretly being in the loop on Spencer’s grand plan.
Cameron will likely come clean about what he knew and how long he’s known it, so that should cause a massive fight with Josslyn.
Next, Brando will surprise Sonny by asking for a big favor.
Sonny will wonder if Brando is asking him to spy on his wife, so Brando may confirm that he indeed wants Sasha followed for her own good.
Since Sonny will have a job for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) soon, maybe he’ll be the one sent to do some Sasha spying.
Over with Grant Smoltz (David Lautman), he’ll want to be clear on how things need to work.
It seems Smoltz will move forward with the story Felty (Brian Norris) offered, so Sasha will soon look guilty of running over Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) on drugs – that is if everything goes according to plan.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Sasha will feel like having fun tonight.
Unfortunately, Sienna the make-up artist always supplies the wrong kind and will inevitably get Sasha hyped up with another “boost.”
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will notice Sasha isn’t herself during their encounter later, so she may suspect Sasha’s on drugs once again.
