General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, February 2 Recap – Harmony’s Forgery Story – Sonny’s Wedding Redo Stuns Carly

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 2, reveals that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) told a commune forgery story while Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wedding redo stunned Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) insisted she didn’t try to pass off a fake diamond.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) noted that the warrant for Tracy’s arrest was valid, so there was nothing she could do.

Tracy ultimately recognized the WSB agent as “Dave the dumpster diver.”

Tracy ranted about how this guy had been obsessed with nailing Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) on some trumped-up charges, so Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) asked if Dave was targeting his mother.

Dave acted like he was just doing his job, but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) stepped forward and made it clear that Tracy wasn’t going anywhere.

After Drew suggested his newest memories could help the WSB, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) piped up about how he could take Drew’s info public.

Since the WSB wanted Drew to cooperate, they agreed to his one request – which was to call Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Meanwhile, Anna called Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) phone and pushed him to get in touch about his voicemail regarding the lead on Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).

When Victor ran into Anna, he sensed that she was worried about Valentin.

However, Anna declined the offer to get to know each other better over coffee and took off to help with the Quartermaine crisis.

Back at the Q manse, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) told Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) that although she was happy about the kiss, it couldn’t happen again.

Maxie liked Austin a lot, but she couldn’t give him the focus he deserved until she had her daughter back.

Austin wasn’t thrilled about being stuck in the friendzone, so Maxie insisted she didn’t expect him to wait for her. Even so, Austin made it clear that Maxie was the only one he was interested in.

At The Invader, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) worried that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was in some kind of trouble.

Harmony said she didn’t mean to alarm Alexis and acted like it wasn’t that dire.

Alexis admitted Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) seemed to be on board with their friendship now, but Harmony feared Alexis wouldn’t want to be her friend anymore – not after what she had to say.

Harmony was upset since she just wanted to be a mother to Willow, so Alexis insisted Harmony was indeed her mother.

Unfortunately, Harmony saw herself as a liability instead.

Harmony confessed that Willow needed a birth certificate for her Paris trip, but she didn’t have one. The birth certificate Willow had been using previously wasn’t official.

Harmony explained how she lived on a commune when she gave birth to Willow, so they didn’t conform to societal norms.

Harmony added that the birth certificate was forged – though not by her personally. Some guy on the commune recreated official documents since they were supposedly afraid of filing with the state.

Alexis wondered if Harmony was leaving something out, but Harmony insisted it was just typical groupthink paranoia.

Harmony didn’t want to be the reason Willow couldn’t go on her trip.

Harmony trusted Alexis, who used to be a lawyer and was smart. She begged for help since she didn’t want to lose her daughter over this.

Alexis agreed to figure something out since that’s what friends were for, so Harmony pulled her into a big hug.

At the gallery, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) brought Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) up to speed on her disastrous trip.

They talked about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) being a troublemaker before Ava fished to find out if Trina had been honest about her feelings with her friends.

Trina acted like she was as honest as she could be under the circumstances.

Ava insisted Trina was her priority and offered to let Trina off the hook when it came to supervising Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

When Spencer kept trying to reach Trina’s phone, Ava acknowledged that Spencer was about to begin his prison sentence.

Trina totally forgot and wanted to be there for Spencer, but Ava pointed out that Spencer had lots of other people to rely on.

Ava thought it was significant that Spencer specifically wanted Trina’s support.

At Kelly’s, Spencer was glum about heading to the big house, but he thanked Victor for all his help.

Victor noted that if Spencer ever felt out of his depth, he should turn to a guard named Samuel. That was someone Victor had arranged to look out for Spencer while he was locked up.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) shared some tense moments with Victor, who eventually turned his attention to Esme.

Although Esme felt she was on her own with Spencer at Spring Ridge, Victor said Esme could come to him if she needed anything.

Victor insisted his offer was earnest since he knew a little something about feeling unwelcome.

Victor got a smile out of Esme when he suggested that if everyone liked you, then you probably weren’t being true to yourself.

When Esme realized Spencer had disappeared, she wasn’t happy about it.

Spencer wound up tracking Trina down at the gallery, so they locked eyes when he arrived.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) acted like Sonny should know better than to plan some over-the-top display of love – not when she’d asked for time and space.

Sonny couldn’t give Carly time away since that meant time away from their family.

Sonny was desperate to get Carly to forgive him and insisted he’d forget everything that happened with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) if he could.

Carly didn’t seem convinced, so Sonny felt like nothing he said was right.

Sonny let it slip that his grand gesture was recreating their wedding in Martinique, so stunned Carly teared up and admitted that was pretty perfect.

Carly knew they could have a wonderful night if they relived the past, but she didn’t think it would fix the future.

Sonny said he was willing to wait for Carly, but he worried she might never be ready if she wasn’t ready now.

Across town, Laura seemed convinced that Luke’s death, the counterfeit Ice Princess and Victor resurfacing were all connected.

Once Anna arrived at the Quartermaine mansion, she got the full scoop from Tracy on the fake diamond drama.

Anna argued that since Tracy was cooperating, an arrest wouldn’t be necessary.

Tracy complained about the WSB escorting her on her flight to Amsterdam, but Ned thought it’d be worse if she was in prison.

They shared a hug and reminded each other over their love before Tracy headed out.

Anna called Maxie and found out she was at the Q manse, so she found her in the other room.

After Anna mentioned Valentin’s voicemail regarding a Louise lead, Austin had a series of flashbacks involving Maxie and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

It seemingly clicked for Austin that Maxie handed off her baby to Brook Lynn in the woods that night.

General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will have some explaining to do soon, so stay tuned!
