General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, February 2, teases that Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) past will shock Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) while Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has a goodbye party. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also leave Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) in limbo, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
First, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will take a big risk. She’ll have a major revelation to spill involving Willow and won’t be sure Alexis can accept it.
Harmony obviously can’t produce Willow’s birth certificate based on her reaction to Willow’s request.
Based on what we know so far, Harmony has been lying about being Willow’s biological mother this entire time.
All signs point to Willow being Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) twin, which makes Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) her bio mom.
Since Harmony apparently obtained Willow via illegal adoption, she may wonder if Alexis can help her cook up another birth certificate to keep the truth under wraps.
Alexis just got through saying how much she valued the honesty in her friendship with Harmony, but that honesty doesn’t extend to Willow – though Alexis might insist that it should!
Will Alexis push Harmony to come clean instead of letting herself get dragged into new crimes and cover-ups?
Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may be reluctant to ruin the surprise he has in mind for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but she’ll leave him no choice.
Carly will try to shut down Sonny’s grand gesture, so he’ll go ahead and reveal what exactly he’s cooked up.
Sonny will grin from ear to ear as he realizes he’s indeed touched Carly’s heart.
Sonny will move Carly to tears and get her to admit it’s a pretty perfect idea.
However, Carly may warn Sonny this doesn’t change what she wants, which is time and space.
Since Carly still feels like there’s still a spark between Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she needs him to extinguish that without her.
Carly can’t stand by and watch Sonny struggle to get over Nina, but he may keep insisting that’s all in the past.
In other words, there’ll be some progress for Sonny and Carly, but there could be a setback, too.
In the meantime, Maxie won’t tell Austin exactly what he wants to hear, but she’ll manage to offer some hope for the future.
When Maxie makes it clear she’s not ready to move forward romantically, Austin may fear she’s turning him down flat.
Fortunately, Maxie won’t be saying she’s never going to be interested. She’s just got baby drama to focus on right now, so any relationship goals will have to wait.
Next, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have a special request that might tie in with Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) latest predicament.
Drew is always looking for ways to help, so he might step up somehow.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will definitely try to wiggle Tracy out of the legal charges she’s facing, but that’ll be easier said than done.
It doesn’t look like Tracy knowingly counterfeited the Ice Princess, she’ll have a hard time proving her innocence.
While Tracy deals with her fake diamond dilemma, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will confide in Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) at the gallery.
Since Trina will be back sooner than anticipated, she’ll have to explain why to a curious Ava.
Trina may admit to not feeling the greatest after a drinking game – one that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) instigated and used to stir up trouble.
Ava might also find out Spencer left early with Esme, so things are now awkward within the teen group.
Ava will offer to “happily keep the two of you apart,” so she may back down on Trina fulfilling a supervisor role when Spencer comes to work at the gallery.
That arrangement won’t happen until Spencer is out of prison, but Ava won’t further rock the boat.
Of course, Trina may argue that Esme is really more of the problem at this point.
Trina might stick to the supervisor position since she already worked it all out with Spencer and fret over Esme’s next move instead.
Ava already made it clear that Esme wouldn’t get another chance if she blew this one. Ava won’t be afraid to knock some sense into Esme if Trina says the word!
Nevertheless, Trina may prefer to just let all the cabin chaos die down and see where things stand a little later.
As for Spencer, he’ll get a farewell bash ahead of his Spring Ridge stint.
Spencer will remain uneasy about landing behind bars, but at least he’s only going for a month – and he has Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to thank for that.
Spencer will express his gratitude to Victor and anyone else he feels deserves a kind word at this celebration.
Victor will continue manipulating Spencer, but he’ll have to make time for a chat with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) outside.
Anna will think she knows exactly what she’s dealing with when it comes to Victor and all his schemes.
Unfortunately, Anna may not know the half of it!
It doesn’t look like Anna will know Victor is holding Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) captive when this interaction plays out.
Even so, that bombshell is still to come! Anna will find out Valentin is missing in the coming episodes, so the trail should lead to Victor eventually.
