General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, February 9 Update – Victor’s Deal to Save Charlotte – Austin Blames Himself

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, February 9, teases that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will feel like he has to make a deal to save Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) – and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will blame himself for Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) daughter going missing. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also find that she can’t go back, so here’s what fans can expect.

On the pier, Peter will reiterate that Charlotte’s a goner if Victor takes him out.

Victor may suspect Peter’s bluffing, but Peter is telling the truth about kidnapping Charlotte.

Regardless of what Victor believes, he can’t take a chance when it comes to his granddaughter’s safety.

It looks like Victor will have to make yet another deal with the devil and grant Peter safe passage out of Port Charles – at least until he can get Charlotte home safe and sound.

After Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) compare notes, they’ll move forward with a plan to stop Peter.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will help with that, but he’ll also make time for a sweet moment with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

Dante may bring up Sam’s conversation with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) again and point out that it looked awfully intense.

Dante may wonder if Sam’s sure that Drew is really her past and not her future.

However, Sam has convinced herself that she belongs with Dante and will tell him so.

More doubts could creep in down the road, but Sam will concentrate on the road ahead with Dante for the time being.

Over with Austin, he’ll hold himself responsible for Peter figuring out the truth about “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).

Austin will think back to his earlier discussions with Victor and worry he helped the twisted Cassadine put the puzzle together.

GH fans know what really clicked things into place for Victor was the whole sonogram situation, but the real people to blame here are Peter and Victor himself.

Victor shouldn’t have put an innocent child in danger by revealing her true identity – and Peter certainly shouldn’t have kidnapped Louise either.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also battle regrets over the pointless secrets she’s kept.

From hiding who Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was in Nixon Falls to concealing the truth about “Bailey,” Nina just won’t see the point since everything was exposed anyway.

Nina will get upset, but Sonny will offer some support.

That may bring a conversation about Carly dumping Sonny, which isn’t surprising under the circumstances.

Nina won’t like to see Sonny suffering, but she’ll know there’s nothing she could say or do to make it better.

As for Carly, she’ll confide in Drew once again. Carly won’t think there’s any coming back from Sonny’s latest betrayal, so that’s something that’ll leave her crushed and angry.

As much as Carly loves Sonny, she just can’t put up with all this anymore.

Next, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will deliver orders to someone with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) by her side. Concerns about “Bailey” will intensify – and new fears about Charlotte will emerge sooner or later.

Nina may call Charlotte back and grow worried when there’s no answer.

That could lead to investigating Laura and Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) place, so it won’t be long until Charlotte officially becomes a missing person in the Peter case.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna, Laura and Dante will team up to make sure there’s no more innocent bloodshed, so stick with the ABC soap.
