General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, January 26 – Peter’s Future With Maxie & Louise - Sonny Panics Nina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, January 26, tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will face a woods crisis while Peter August (Wes Ramsey) makes a forever vow. It looks like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also call Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for help, so here’s what fans can expect.

At the hospital, Britt will wonder what Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) thinks he’s doing.

Britt will confront Victor when he shows back up at GH, where Victor intends to confirm the patient ID number on the back of the sonogram photo.

Victor may keep up the charade of doing a good deed, but it’s obvious he wants to back up his hunch that “Bailey Quartermaine” is actually Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).

In the meantime, Maxie will work to keep that revelation under wraps in Pautauk.

Maxie will return to the scene of the “crime” with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth).

It looks like Maxie will want to call it quits in a hurry and act like this is pointless, but Felicia will argue this could be a huge breakthrough.

Austin seems to be on the verge of remembering Maxie’s baby handoff to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but he may choose to corner Maxie privately.

Once Austin potentially faces total recall, he may give Maxie a chance to explain herself alone.

Of course, another trip will kick off besides the one to Pautauk.

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been talking about this cabin getaway for what feels like forever – and it’s finally time for the gang to help Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) enjoy his last moments of freedom before Spring Ridge.

Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will decide that tonight is the night. They’ll hope to make love for the first time at the cabin, but you can bet Esme will derail that plan.

Instead, Esme will swap in her own twisted plot and create total mayhem by the end of the week.

Until then, Carly will seek some peace and quiet. She’ll want to be alone with her thoughts, so it seems she’ll head to yoga class.

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will make trouble when she sits next to Carly, so that’ll bring plenty of tension.

After Ava pushes Carly’s buttons, Carly will snap that maybe Ava needs to think about somebody else but herself.

Carly won’t want to talk to Ava about Nina or anything else for that matter.

At the Corinthos house, Nina will apparently call Britt and inquire about her next move.

Sonny reluctantly let Nina stay, but he doesn’t want her to call Carly or any of his loved ones.

That’s a problem since Nina can tell Sonny is having a manic episode.

Nina doesn’t want to leave Sonny alone, especially since he could scare Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Rose (Ava Rose) in this emotional state.

Britt should offer advice after getting updates on the situation – and she’ll definitely want Nina to be careful.

Nina can’t predict how far Sonny’s erratic behavior will go.

Sonny will grow increasingly agitated as he warns Nina to stop telling him what to do, so there’ll be some scary moments as she tries to stay in control.

While Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) meets with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), Britt will have an announcement to make in Peter’s room.

Britt may point out that Peter is headed back to prison soon and gloat over him never getting the family reunion he’s dreaming of.

Peter will disagree with that and continue to act like Maxie is his destiny. “We’re bound together forever,” Peter insists in Wednesday’s preview clip.

Peter will be convinced that he still has some sort of a future with Maxie and their daughter.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will also share a cute scene with Louise, who’ll be as adorable as ever in her baby carrier.

Chase will think “that went well considering,” so he should escape some awkward encounter without facing too many questions and concerns.

General Hospital spoilers say the Louisa drama is on the verge of exploding, so stay tuned.
