General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 13, reveals that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) rejected rehab while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) went all in with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) also shut down her last hotel offer, so here’s how it all went down.
At the park, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) kissed once more as they confirmed this was about more than a distraction.
Despite enjoying the kiss and wanting it to happen, Trina argued that it couldn’t happen again.
Rory worried Trina was stuck on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), but Trina denied that and just felt they wouldn’t have a future if her trial didn’t go well.
However, Rory chose to stay optimistic and believe that Trina’s name would be cleared.
Near the pool, Sonny talked to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about who might’ve snatched up Carly’s Metro Court half.
When Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) popped up, Sonny hoped that maybe Drew had been Carly’s guardian angel.
Drew revealed he wasn’t behind the purchase and blamed himself for getting Carly into this mess.
Afterward, Sonny got Brick (Stephen A. Smith) on the phone and asked him to look into something for him.
At GH, Sasha woke up concerned about the fallout for Deception and was eager to go home.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) felt Sasha needed more help than he could give her and insisted they could get her in a rehab program she was comfortable with.
Sasha argued that everything was under control, but Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) confessed to telling Brando about Sasha using uppers to get through the IPO launch.
After Sasha tried to explain that away, Brando called her out for lying and wondered if she was on drugs during their wedding.
Although Sasha assured Brando that she wasn’t during the actual ceremony, she admitted to being on drugs when she proposed.
Brando was clearly upset, but Sasha insisted this didn’t change anything – that she still loved him and wanted this marriage.
Despite Brando feeling the same way, he kept trying to push Sasha into rehab.
In a moment alone with Gladys, Sasha made it clear that rehab wasn’t what she wanted.
In 24 hours, Sasha insisted the decision wouldn’t be anyone else’s but hers.
Over with Brando, he thanked Sonny for visiting and acknowledged that this wasn’t a great time.
Brando also talked to Dex (Evan Hofer) about their military tours, so they bonded over common ground.
In Carly’s office, she was furious after Nina revealed that she bought Carly’s half of the Metro Court.
Nina wanted to offer it to Carly as a gift – no strings attached.
Carly felt that Nina wanted to make herself look good and quickly turned down the proposition.
However, Nina knew she owed Carly and pushed her to cave in. It wouldn’t balance the scales, but Nina hoped to tip them back toward the middle.
Carly stood her ground and decided she’d be clearing her things out now that Nina was the co-owner with Olivia, so Nina was disappointed.
Afterward, Nina showed up at the hospital, where Sonny dragged her off following updates from Brick.
Sonny didn’t blame Carly for thinking Nina was self-serving and acted like Nina should’ve known Carly would take that stance.
Nina defended the move and just wanted to make things easier for them to move forward.
As Nina teared up, Sonny argued that they couldn’t undo the past. They could only make peace with it.
That said, Sonny felt he should be clear about wanting to be with Nina and said he was all in. Nina and Sonny shared an emotional moment along with a passionate kiss.
Back with Carly, she filled Drew and Olivia in on Nina’s latest stunt.
Olivia wasn’t thrilled to be in business with Nina now, but Carly just couldn’t accept a dime from that woman.
At the hospital, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) called seeking a genetic specialist since the appointment she made previously kept getting pushed back.
Portia insisted this was urgent, so she had to cover with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) once they appeared.
Thanks to Marshall, Curtis explained they had a lead that might help Trina.
One of Marshall’s old band members got the name and address of the bartender who sold Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) the phone she planted.
Since the bartender hadn’t been back to the bar and wasn’t at home, Curtis called a contact and got a list of associates that might be helpful.
Marshall talked to Portia alone, so she noted that schizophrenia usually presents itself in the early 20s.
Portia fished for info on what symptoms Marshall had first developed, but paranoia was the only one he could point to for sure.
Once Curtis confirmed he had the list of associates, Marshall was adamant about pitching in on the next phase of the search.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Marshall will do whatever they can to get Trina off the hook, so stay tuned.
