General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, July 6 Recap – Sasha Believes Baby Doll Is Living Liam – Locked Up Due To Mental Break

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 6, reveals that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) believed a baby doll was living Liam Corbin, so she was placed on a 72-hour hold after suffering an on-air mental break.

While on the Home and Heart Channel, Sasha was asked to model Flora Gardens’ (Susan Batten) papoose using a baby doll, which led to her thinking Liam was alive and strapped to her.

GH fans saw Sasha’s perspective as she marveled over Liam being back from the dead.

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) finally rushed on stage and brought Sasha back to reality, so she cried over Liam disappearing and seemed confused.

In the aftermath, Haven de Havilland (Morgan Fairchild) was furious over the live trainwreck and the reruns they were now airing.

Flora was apologetic since she didn’t know about Sasha’s recent baby loss and thought she might take a break from presenting for a while.

Since Flora was such a popular host, Haven insisted Deception was once again costing them money.

After Haven threatened Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) with a lawsuit, shareholder Selina Wu (Lydia Look) appeared and advised against it.

The way Selina saw it, Home and Heart Channel could either respond with kindness or face their own lawsuit for damages.

Lucy was appreciative after Haven stormed off, but Selina made it clear that she expected Lucy to have more control of her talent – or else there’d be consequences.

At GH, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) got updates on Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) Society Setups event disaster.

Britt also realized Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) left his rodeo belt behind since he’d put her name down as his contact.

Afterward, Brando and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) brought Sasha to the hospital for evaluation.

Kevin heard about what happened and searched Sasha’s purse with Brando’s permission, which led to the pills being found.

Although Sasha wanted to go home, Kevin recommended that she be put on a 72-hour hold for observation.

Maxie thought they should trust Kevin, so Brando approved the decision and had to listen to Sasha scream as she was wheeled off.

At the Quartermaine stables, Cody interrupted a kiss between Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Introductions were exchanged as Willow and Michael helped Cody get settled in as a stable hand.

Once Cody was alone, Britt griped over having to bring him the rodeo belt.

Cody offered Britt riding lessons and suggested she knew where to find him once she got over her cowardice.

Britt gazed back at Cody as she was leaving – and then Cody told Comet the horse that Britt liked him.

Meanwhile, Willow talked to Michael about the pony she loved on one of the compounds she lived at as a kid.

Michael was sorry that Willow felt so unsettled growing up and confirmed that their own children would known the stability of Port Charles.

In Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) office, she filled Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in on Carly losing her half of the Metro Court.

Nina also revealed her reasons for turning down Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) offer to buy Crimson.

At the Metro Court pool, Carly found out Drew was trying to sell Crimson, but she scolded him since she didn’t ask for his help and didn’t want him selling such a profitable division.

Drew wanted to help Carly bounce back from her losses, but she felt she’d made her own mistakes and argued Aurora would need Crimson to stay afloat.

Drew left before realizing he’d forgotten something, so he lingered as Sonny tracked down Carly.

While Drew eavesdropped, Carly turned down Sonny’s offer to help as well.

Sonny felt he was just offering Carly what she was already entitled to in the divorce, but Carly wasn’t interested.

After Sonny hinted about how Carly would feel paying for entrance to what was once her pool, he told her to remember he tried.

Once Carly was alone, she broke down in tears before Drew reappeared with a beer for her.

Drew assured Carly that a good cry was beneficial and added that Carly Corinthos could be down but never out.

Back with Nina, she caught Sasha’s live TV appearance and was in tears when Sonny arrived.

Nina explained what she witnessed and reflected on her own grief over losing a child.

Sonny assured Nina that she didn’t have to be alone anymore and pulled her into a comforting embrace.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina and Sonny are headed for a blowup soon, so they’ll have to find a way through their issues.
