General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 8, teases that Brando Corbin (temporarily played by Brad Schmidt) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will stop Dex (Evan Hofer) while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) loses control of her temper. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also rip into Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), so here’s what GH fans can expect.
In Britt’s hotel room, she’ll scramble to find a legal strategy. Britt will talk to someone over the phone and stress the importance of fixing this before they both lose their jobs.
It’s clear that Britt needs to do some damage control due to that viral video.
Britt doesn’t need everyone knowing GH’s co-chief of staff had a drunken meltdown and crawled out of the Metro Court pool.
Brook Lynn will find out Brad was behind the footage, so she’ll hold him responsible for Britt’s mess.
Although Brook Lynn will blast Brad for his epic friend fail, he never meant for things to turn out like this.
While Brad rushes to his own defense with Brook Lynn, Britt will be busy speaking with a lawyer.
That could be Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) or someone else, but Britt will hope she can count on her attorney to help.
Meanwhile, Sasha will reach her breaking point with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
Brando thought it seemed like Gladys and Sasha were getting along – and that may have been true up to now.
However, Gladys will push Sasha too hard and cause a major outburst.
Sasha just won’t be able to take Gladys’ hovering over her every minute and monitoring her every move.
Gladys is going to drive Sasha out of her mind if she doesn’t stop, so Sasha will push her to back off.
Of course, Sasha might actually need some help once a special delivery arrives.
There’ll be something upsetting in a package that shows up, so we’ll see if this involves drugs or maybe a delayed baby gift.
The last thing Sasha needs is a remainder of her Liam Corbin devastation right now, but that may be what’s headed her way.
As for Sonny, he’ll address Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) concerns in Wednesday’s episode.
Selina may fret over Sonny’s feud with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and the damage it could do to Sonny’s business, especially since that’d be bad for Selina’s business, too.
Selina entered this alliance thinking it’d be mutually beneficial, but she may worry it won’t stay that way.
It’ll be up to Sonny to reassure Selina and keep this partnership on track.
Sonny doesn’t want Brando getting caught up in the family hostility, but Brando will feel he has no choice.
Since Brando noticed Dex’s gun and knows he headed off to handle something, he’ll no doubt worry that the situation could escalate.
Brando will relay some suspicions to Dante and perhaps warn that Michael could be in trouble if Dex goes too far.
Dex indeed approached Michael after overhearing Sonny’s suspicions regarding his son’s attack.
Whether Dex pulls his weapon or not, he seems awfully cocky about this confrontation.
Dex is making a big mistake since Sonny’s rage will be unleashed later on.
Dante should be able to send Dex away from the Quartermaine stables thanks to Brando’s tip.
That’ll give Dante a chance to quiz Michael about whether he’s indeed targeting Sonny already.
Regardless of how far the plan has progressed, Dante won’t think it’s the right call.
Michael loves to sit on his throne and judge Sonny, but is he any better when he’s plotting to destroy his own father?
Dante will push Michael to think about that and hope peace is still possible.
In the meantime, Sonny will put Dex on full blast over this Michael incident.
Dex may argue that he just wanted to scare Michael a little, but Sonny won’t appreciate him taking matters into his own hands.
Sonny will vow to kill Dex if he dares to touch one of his kids.
Feud or no feud, Sonny has no intention of resorting to violent threats when it comes to his children.
Questions remain about Dex’s background since he just popped up out of nowhere.
There’s still a chance Dex works for someone shady – or that he’ll wind up on playing for a foe’s team by the end of all this.
