General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 16, teases that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) will observe Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) fight while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) risks death to trap Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
First, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will get some happy news from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), who’ll no doubt be excited to spread the word about her new house with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Trina may be glad there’s a spare room with her name on it, especially since she could really use her mom right now.
Esme managed to cause chaos through that cabin video scandal – and now she’s trying to blame Trina for it.
Of course, Spencer knows Trina well enough to realize she’d never stoop that low. Deep down, Spencer has to know Esme is a far more likely culprit.
Esme will play innocent on Wednesday and act offended over what Spencer’s implying.
Spencer might argue that he’s not accusing Esme of anything, but he’ll still seek the truth and try to nail down exactly what happened.
While Esme and Spencer argue, Ryan will spy on them from across the room.
Ryan may see that Spencer could prove to be a major distraction if he gets out of Spring Ridge on schedule.
There are some hints about Ryan potentially manipulating the situation and making it so Spencer stays locked up for breaking the rules, but we’ll see how things play out down the road.
In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will head to a study session that goes off the rails.
There’ll probably be some cruel students who insist on harassing Joss over the video scandal.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will want to make things easier on Josslyn and will be willing to avoid each other in public for a while if that might help.
That’s not ideal, but Joss and Cam are dealing with a total nightmare right now.
In Austria, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will come to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) rescue by hurling scalding coffee at the gunman.
There’ll still be some shots fired as Victor’s minion tries to carry out his orders, but Anna will ultimately knock him out cold.
While that plot is thwarted, Victor will put another plan in motion. He’ll warn Drew that it’d be a big mistake to ignore his attempt to meet up in person.
Victor will insist that if Drew cares about his family, then he’ll show up at the desired time and place. What Victor won’t realize is that he’s falling into a trap!
That tarot card was planted for Victor to find, so Drew intends to pretend he’s been reactivated and learn what Victor’s secret goals are.
There could be serious trouble if Victor realizes he’s been duped.
Victor already decided that if this second tarot card didn’t work out, then he’d eliminate Drew entirely.
Before Drew walks into a risky situation, he’ll hear about Josslyn’s latest horror from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
There won’t be evidence that firmly points to Esme just yet, but Carly will do everything in her power to find it.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will join Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as they try to coax the real story out of Jake Webber (Hudson West).
Jake will feel like they’ve got it all wrong, but Liz will suggest the only way Jake can clear things up is if he tells the truth.
There’s a good chance Jake has been meeting with Grandpa Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson) behind Liz’s back.
Jake may worry that Liz will never forgive him for secretly bonding with her estranged father.
Liz might learn that Jeff has been in contact and encouraged Jake to sneak around to see him.
Liz may be upset over Jeff pushing her son to lie, but this certainly isn’t an unforgivable offense – especially on Jake’s end.
