General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, March 2, tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will drop a stalker bomb while Jake Webber (Hudson West) returns for an interrogation. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will also have some loose Peter August (Wes Ramsey) ends to tie up, so let’s discuss what GH has in store.
First, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will get called out during a conversation with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), who knows Curtis put Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) up to offering him a job.
Marshall told Drew he was no charity case, but Drew managed to smooth things over – that is until the topic of a background check came up.
That sent Marshall running for the hills, so Drew filled Curtis in on the interview outcome over the phone.
Of course, Curtis may play dumb when he meets up with his father, but Marshall might suspect this was a ploy to learn more about his past.
Even if Marshall understands his son’s safety concerns, he may fear Curtis will make matters worse if he goes poking his nose where it doesn’t belong.
Next, Anna will admit the investigation isn’t completely wrapped up, so there’ll still be some loose Peter ends to take care of.
However, Anna will hope to close this chapter for good in the near future.
As for Mac Scorpio (John J. York), he’ll be eager to get back to work.
Mac has been serving as Port Charles’ acting police commissioner, so he won’t want to leave such an important role for too long.
It’ll be Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) who pump the brakes since Mac just hasn’t recovered enough for that.
Fortunately, all this talk of Port Charles needing a police commissioner will lead to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) making a big comeback soon.
In the meantime, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will be glad to see Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) back in PC.
Maxie will have Bailey Louise Jones (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) in her arms when Austin spots her and asks if there’s room in her heart for something.
Austin will hope Maxie can forgive him for spilling too much to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and putting Bailey at risk. He’ll also want to be friends or maybe more than friends if Maxie’s willing to take that leap at some point.
While Austin makes his plea to Maxie, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will quiz Drew about whether something was business or personal.
Drew’s trip to Switzerland was a little of both, so he may point that out as they catch up.
Of course, the topic of Drew’s interview with Marshall could also become part of the conversation and leave Portia a bit concerned.
Across town, Dante will have concerns of his own when he tells Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) seems to have a stalker.
Sam will naturally be rattled over that shocker and will fear for Liz’s family.
At home, Liz will feel like Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is pointing the finger, but he’ll deny accusing her sons and will act like he’s just trying to make sense of the Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) haunting drama.
When Dante was at the house investigating, the possibility that Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang) might’ve used one of the boys came up.
That possibility may be revisited when Jake finally comes home and faces an interrogation.
Jake will face questions about the portrait and all the other creepy occurrences, but Liz may also flat-out ask Jake if he’s been working with Betsy.
Whether they have a secret partnership or not, Liz will definitely want some answers.
