General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, March 23, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will face a parenting predicament while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) spills info on Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) past. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also have to make a decision, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
First, Drew will be ready to pass along those inconsistencies he found in Marshall’s history.
However, Drew will want to make sure Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) truly wants to know first.
Curtis has to make Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) safety a priority, so he can’t have any surprises popping up from Marshall’s past.
The more Curtis knows, the better off he’ll be – and that means giving Drew the green light on sharing his discoveries.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will also see something troubling in Wednesday’s episode, so we’ll see if that involves Marshall or perhaps the growing suspicions regarding Harmony Miller (Priscilla Garita).
At The Invader, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will ask if someone’s reached a decision.
After Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) fills Josslyn in on the offer Alexis has made to tell her story from a less trashy angle, Joss will get on board.
It’s a shame that Josslyn is in this situation at all, but the story will be less scandalous in Alexis’ hands and will give Joss a voice against injustice.
Cameron will also have a chance to speak out as a victim if he chooses to, so Alexis is giving them back some power.
Josslyn will ask Cameron to stand with her, so hopefully he’ll agree and tackle the next steps as a team.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will also sit down with Carly as they cope with Cam and Josslyn’s latest crisis.
It looks like Liz will suggest they’re all going to get through this, but Carly may wonder how Liz can be so sure.
Of course, Liz and Carly know they’ve raised their children to be resilient.
With their families backing them up, Josslyn and Cameron will indeed get through this difficult storm.
As for Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), she’ll tell Nikolas Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) that they need to close ranks.
With Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) homecoming just around the corner, Laura will think it’s important to stand together and keep Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) influence to a minimum.
At Spring Ridge, Spencer will tell someone “let’s do it” as he sits across from them.
He’ll move forward with a plan – and soon after, Spencer will face a surprise interruption.
“Are you saying you were wrong about me?” Esme eventually asks in Wednesday’s GH preview video.
It’s possible Spencer’s plan will involve seeking the truth behind that video.
Spencer might play nice with Esme once she shows up, but he obviously doesn’t trust her.
Sonny doesn’t trust Ava Jerome either, but they’ll be forced to deal with a parenting crisis together.
Carly and Sonny’s separation has no doubt been hard on Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), so that could be a factor in what goes down.
“You don’t miss a beat, do you?” Sonny asks Ava in Wednesday’s preview clip.
Sonny will act like Ava’s trying to take advantage of a bad situation, but Ava may assure Sonny that they both want what’s best for Avery.
