General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, March 30 Recap – Nikolas Rescues Esme – Victor & Sonny’s Showdown – Sasha Needs Drugs

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 30, reveals that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) rescued Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) while Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had a showdown. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) also decided she needed more drugs, so here’s how all the GH action played out.

At the PCPD, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) admitted he wanted to believe Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), so she angrily asked why he couldn’t.

Spencer pointed out there was evidence, but Trina insisted she was set up and felt that he should open his eyes to who Esme was.

After Spencer admitted Esme might be pregnant, Trina realized why he was trying to believe there was still good in her.

Since Spencer refused to have faith in Trina, she declared she was done with him.

Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) told Spencer it was time to go – and later, he gave Trina a cold beverage along with a sympathetic smile.

Meanwhile, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) met with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to strategize ahead of Trina’s arraignment.

Scott assured Portia that he wouldn’t have taken the case if he truly believed Trina would do something like that to Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

Portia found strength in Curtis’ arms before they met up with Trina to prepare for court.

That led to a brief confrontation between Portia and Spencer before Dante suggested the latter should leave.

In Sonny’s office, he warned that Esme needed to confess what she’d done.

Esme wondered why Sonny believed the worst in her, but Sonny reminded Esme of her prior lies and how her scheming had affected Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

While Sonny tried to intimidate Esme into a confession regarding the leaked video, Nikolas grew concerned about what happened to her.

Victor mentioned that Esme might be pregnant, so Nikolas thought it made sense why she was so emotional and overwhelmed.

Nikolas kept asking questions about the car Victor saw and later found Esme’s dropped phone outside.

After Nikolas thought back to Esme acting like Sonny was a threat, he took off for Sonny’s office with Victor.

Nikolas barged in, so Esme cried for help dramatically and acted relieved that Nikolas came to her rescue.

Back at Charlie’s Pub, Esme hugged Nikolas just in time for Spencer to walk in and witness the embrace.

As for Victor, he sauntered up to Sonny and put him on notice.

Victor warned Sonny to stay away from his family and argued that the Cassadines always come out on top one way or another.

Victor suggested that if Sonny continued his harassment, then he’d learn that the hard way.

Sonny countered that he’d faced men a lot more intimidating than Victor and was still standing.

If Victor wanted to take the first shot, then Sonny said he would finish the fight!

At the police station, Chase talked to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about the softball league and looked forward to the end of his suspension.

There was talk about Brook Lynn’s sacrifice for Maxie and how she’d selfishly schemed in the past, but Chase insisted Brook Lynn as a caring person now.

Dante didn’t understand why Chase was getting so defensive, especially since he was the one who said Brook Lynn couldn’t be trusted.

Next, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) prepared for Deception’s IPO launch party with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

Brook Lynn objected to asking Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to sing one of her songs with Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken), so Maxie demanded answers in private.

Brook Lynn argued that her feelings for Chase were the problem. She didn’t want to see too much of Chase while she was trying to plant him in the friend zone.

When Chase showed up, Maxie pushed Brook Lynn to ask him to sing with Amy anyway.

Unfortunately, Chase acted like maybe it wasn’t a good idea. It was one thing to sing for charity, but he was wary of singing for the Deception event.

Brook Lynn seemed upset as she suggested Chase had an image to protect. She acted like she didn’t fit into Chase’s world and cut the conversation short.

Sasha and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) also made it back from Niagara Falls, so they realized they needed to figure out their living situation now that they were married.

Nevertheless, Sasha just wanted to enjoy their new relationship status for now.

They had to deal with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and all her pestering before Lucy, Maxie and Brook Lynn showed up for IPO launch party talk.

There was also a discussion about having a celebration for Sasha and Brando now that they were husband and wife.

When Sasha spotted an old promotional shot of herself while pregnant, she excused herself in a hurry.

Sasha seemed reluctant, but she called her dealer to score some drugs to get her through what was ahead.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha could be headed for big trouble, so don’t miss what’s in store at the upcoming IPO launch bash.
