General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 30, teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will play peacemaker while Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) fears for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will also strategize for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), so here’s what’s coming up in Port Charles.
At the PCPD, Trina will wonder if Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) honestly believes she would film and leak a scandalous video.
Trina already insisted she’d never hurt Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) like that, but Spencer is still trying to figure out her motive.
Spencer wants to believe Trina’s telling the truth, so why doesn’t he?
It’s disappointing that the writers are taking this route and damaging the “Sprina” pairing.
When almost everyone else is screaming that Trina couldn’t have done this, it’s infuriating for her love interest to be the one acting like it’s possible.
Thankfully, Spencer remains suspicious of Esme as well. Maybe Trina can convince Spencer that Esme indeed set her up – though she might argue that she shouldn’t have to.
If Spencer were a real friend, he’d know Trina down to her very core.
As for Esme, she’ll remain in the hot seat with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Sonny will try to intimidate Esme into a confession, but there’s no way she’ll cave that easily.
Instead, Esme will shed tears and perhaps complain to Nikolas about how scary the mob boss was.
Nikolas will fret over where Esme disappeared to in that car, so there’s even a chance he’ll figure it out and ride to Esme’s rescue.
Scott will pop up in Wednesday’s episode to offer his legal expertise to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), who’ll be glad to have a shark like Scott in Trina’s corner.
There’ll be some good strategies Scott can use to damage the case the cops are building.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will join Portia for this meeting eventually and let her know he’s there for her.
Just because Portia wants to be strong for Trina doesn’t mean she has to be strong all the time.
Portia is having a rough time and should turn to Curtis when she needs him.
Over with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), she’ll listen to Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) pitch and give it a hard pass.
There’s a good chance this involves the song Lucy has selected for Deception’s IPO launch party.
Brook Lynn can’t sing like she used to thanks to the damage that was done when Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) sliced her throat.
However, Lucy might feel like this is a fairly simple tune that wouldn’t take a lot of range to pull off. She may give Brook Lynn a nudge toward singing it anyway.
That might be something Brook Lynn shuts down immediately, but it’s also possible she’ll object to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) singing with Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken).
It’d be reasonable if Brooke felt a little territorial over her crush and nixed the idea of him singing with another woman.
Whatever the case, Brook Lynn will put up a fight on Lucy’s idea and frustrate her in the process.
Maxie will have to play peacemaker, so she’ll lead the gang through some alternatives and try to find a solution that works.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is an important part of the Deception team, but she’s been busy enjoying her wedding and honeymoon with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
Wednesday’s GH episode will mark Brando and Sasha’s first day back from Niagara Falls, so they’ll gather the courage to face everyone as husband and wife.
There have been a few naysayers behind closed doors, but there have also been some supporters – like Maxie, who understands that an emotional ordeal can really bring two people together.
Maxie seemed happy for Brando and Sasha when she heard the wedding news, so she should express that to them upon their return.
There’ll be some other PC residents who want to offer congratulations to the blissful couple, too.
Unfortunately, Sasha’s drug use is a big part of why she’s up on cloud nine.
Saeha’s creating a situation where a drug-fueled downfall is sure to happen – and the Deception IPO launch party should set the stage for it down the road.
While Chase gears up for softball season, he’ll be sensitive to Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) comments.
The topic of love may come up and cause Chase to get defensive, so Dante won’t get what the problem is.
Of course, Dante may ultimately realize Chase is stuck on Brook Lynn and wishing he could be a couple with her.
Dante might advise Chase to stop standing in his own way and overcome his fears. The only way Chase is ever going to get what he wants is if he tries honesty.
General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn and Chase have some work to do if they want to have a real future together.
