General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 9, teases that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) dangerous move will worry Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) surprises Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also have to work on a new plan, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
At Spring Ridge, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will try to calm Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) down and remind him they’re on the same side.
Ryan just lashed out at Esme and proved he can speak, so Esme will do her best to reassure her partner in crime during a private moment.
Esme will want Ryan to know she’s committed to their plot and that he has her full loyalty.
That should satisfy Ryan for now, but Esme will clearly need to be more careful and stay in line!
As for Victor, he’ll finish celebrating the expanded vow renewal before running into Drew at the Metro Court.
That’ll lead to Drew catching Victor off guard with his attitude. Drew will talk about Victor’s excellent timing, but he’ll seem like he’s gearing up for an outburst.
GH fans will recall how Drew threatened Victor the last time they talked, so he may do it once again.
Of course, Drew will also need to lay the groundwork for the next step of his scheme with Sam, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
The problem is they don’t have all the details worked out thanks to a sudden strategy shift.
Sam suggested slipping the wrong tarot card in Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) belongings, but Dante wasn’t able to arrange it in time.
Now Peter’s personal effects have been delivered to Britt, but Maxie will get a bit panicked over the package on Wednesday’s episode.
It appears Maxie will sound the alarm and warn Britt not to open it, but Britt may point out that the authorities have already checked everything out.
Even so, Maxie will worry since you can’t be too careful with a guy like Peter! Maxie may suspect Peter has somehow offered a final trick following his death.
Back with Sam, she’ll help Dante come up with a backup plan – one that Drew and Laura will hopefully get on board with.
Unfortunately, GH spoilers confirm things won’t go as well as Sam and the others hope!
It’s possible Victor will get his hands on the right tarot card, which features a tower on it.
That could put Victor in the prime position to actually activate Drew in the not-too-distant future.
Now that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) have agreed to a larger vow renewal, they’ll have to wonder if there’s more to Victor’s game than meets the eye.
Nikolas and Ava will worry they’re just chess pieces on the board for devious Victor.
As for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), she’ll express concern over Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) suggestion.
Maybe Lucy will ask if Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) intend to wed in Niagara Falls.
Whether Lucy’s joking or not, that could leave Gladys upset over potentially being left out.
Gladys has actually come to approve of Sasha, so that news will come as a shock to Lucy.
Now that the loss of Liam Corbin has bonded Sasha and Brando, Gladys seems to think they’re good for each other.
In their vehicle, Brando will have some trouble navigating the roads.
Brando will determine that he’s lost and might want to head back, but Sasha will voice her fears.
It looks like Sasha may worry Brando is using the situation to bail on marrying her.
Brando told Sasha that he’d marry her anytime, anywhere.
Brando should stick to that idea and come up with some alternative solution, so that could involve a surprising change of wedding venue.
Although Brando will remain devoted to Sasha and this marriage promise, he won’t realize she was on drugs when she suggested it.
Sasha will keep popping pills, so that could lead to some other shocking situations.
General Hospital spoilers say Sasha may need some serious help if this keeps up, so stay tuned!
