General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, May 11, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have an aggressive outburst while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gets some psychic help. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also suspect Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) scheme, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
Outside Kelly’s, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will find Sonny with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and cause a major confrontation.
It looks like Nikolas will blast Sonny over his treatment of Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so Sonny won’t appreciate the lecture.
However, this encounter will take a physical turn after Nikolas reaches out to touch Sonny.
Once Sonny bends Nikolas’ arm to the point where he cries out in pain, Sonny will make it clear that Nik’s hand should never land on his shoulder again.
Laura will stand there looking shocked over the conflict in front of her and may think Sonny’s going to extremes.
At the same time, Laura might argue that Nikolas is poking the bear by getting in Sonny’s face and defending Esme.
Speaking of Esme, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will keep trying to smooth things over now that he’s been busted snooping through her shoebox.
Esme made excuses for why she’d been in touch with Maggie Fitzgerald without Spencer’s knowledge and pushed Spencer to trust her.
Spencer argued that Esme doesn’t trust him either – not that he’s giving her many reasons to by getting caught rummaging in her room!
Now Spencer’s going to play nice with Esme and insist he has something very special in store for her.
Esme will smile in response, but they’ll both be trying to get a feel for how much they know about each other’s plans.
Spencer managed to swipe a pill from the unlabeled bottle he found, so that could be why he’ll turn to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for help later this week.
Perhaps Spencer will distract Esme with whatever surprise he’s cooked up and get Britt’s assistance figuring out what was in the bottle.
Assuming that’s what Esme drugged Trina with, GH fans know it was Tramadol – which is a strong opioid medication.
In the meantime, it seems Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will talk to Laura about Elizabeth, who believes she’s being haunted – or at least she’s open to the possibility.
Liz will return home with a medium named Chelsea Lam (Jen Ray), who actually interacted with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) back in 2019.
That might leave Chelsea confident that she can sense Franco’s presence again if he’s in the house.
Of course, Chelsea might strike out despite her best efforts to connect Liz to Franco in the spirit realm.
Liz will have to wonder if maybe there’s another haunting option, so the mystery of what’s happening to her will deepen.
Next, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will declare that she needs to go somewhere.
We’ll see Willow deliver her decision to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and get his support on taking the next steps.
Willow will want to move forward with the DNA test that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) pushed for through the PCPD.
As for Carly, she obviously has plans to run a DNA test of her own since she just stole Nina’s glass from Charlie’s Pub.
Drew apparently showed up in time to catch Carly putting that glass in her purse since he’ll confront her about what he just witnessed.
Even if Drew doesn’t figure out exactly what’s going on, he’ll know something shady is afoot.
“I can’t be that guy for you,” Drew tells Carly in Wednesday’s GH preview video.
Maybe Drew will sense that Carly’s plotting something against Nina and warn that he can’t get caught up in the drama.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was always there to clean up Carly’s messes, but Drew may think he has to prioritize his family now that he’s been given a second chance with them – especially Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri).
Next, it appears Nina will make a vow in the cemetery.
Nina will declare that she’s prepared to go all the way, so she may make a promise to fight for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) while visiting Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) grave.
When Michael crosses paths with Sonny, he’ll give his father a chance to say that Nina was wrong.
Sonny may acknowledge that Nina has made mistakes like the rest of them, but that doesn’t make her the evil person that Michael’s making her out to be.
Regardless, Michael will probably take whatever Sonny says as another defense of Nina and refuse to even think about making amends.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina’s war with Carly and her closest supporters will soar to new heights soon, so stay tuned.
