General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 11, tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will insist on taking an urgent trip while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) provokes Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will also play with fire, so here’s what Wednesday’s GH has in store.
In Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) bedroom, she’ll presumably lie to hide her connection to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Esme will work to get Spencer off the topic of her father and urge him to focus on their romance instead.
Spencer won’t want to raise too many red flags, so he’ll settle down and play nice with Esme in the end.
In fact, Spencer will promise a special surprise – though his surprise will bring a rude awakening if all goes well!
GH fans know Spencer is working to sink Esme and clear Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name, so he’ll carry out the next phase of that plan soon.
That could mean taking a pill from Esme’s bottle to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who’ll indeed help Spencer before the week’s over.
Britt may be able to reveal Tramadol as the drug Esme stashed, so that could serve as another clue about what happened at the cabin – at least if Spencer can use his brain and figure this out.
Over with Nikolas, he’ll make the mistake of defending Esme to Sonny.
Nikolas will make yet another blunder by touching Sonny’s shoulder, so Sonny will make him pay the price for that.
After Sonny launches an attack and bends Nikolas’ arm back in the process, Nik will yelp in pain and get a stern warning about what’s off-limits.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will witness the hostility, so she might play referee – though she may also admit Nikolas played with fire and got burned.
Laura will remain concerned about Nikolas’ defense of Esme and the toll it’s taking on his marriage.
While Laura warns Nikolas, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will get a different kind of warning from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Drew just found Carly as she was swiping Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) glass from Charlie’s Pub.
Although Drew may not know all the details of what Carly is up to, he may sense it can only end in disaster.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was always loyal to Carly and would keep all her secrets, but Drew might point out that things have to be different with him.
There’s too much at stake since Drew finally has a second chance out of the cell he was stuck in for years.
Next, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will meet with Chelsea Lam (Jen Ray), a medium who already appeared for some supernatural drama in 2019.
Chelsea gave Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) a psychic reading that came to her out of the blue, so she’s potentially the medium with the best shot at communicating now.
It’s clear that Chelsea really knows her stuff when it comes to the spirit realm. If Franco’s ghost is in Liz’s house, then Chelsea will surely be able to sense it.
However, Liz will also contemplate the idea that maybe a different ghost is the one doing all the damage.
Chelsea will listen to Liz’s haunting concerns and do whatever she can to provide some answers.
Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will get updates on Liz’s ghostly fears, so that could be through a chat with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Laura or both.
Laura will indeed become more involved in Liz’s storyline in the coming weeks.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Michael will run into Sonny and give him an opportunity to make an admission.
Michael will provoke his dad by insisting this is Sonny’s chance to admit Nina was wrong.
Although Nina hasn’t always made the right decisions, she’s got a good heart as far as Sonny is concerned.
Sonny may point that out to Michael and refuse to let his son drag Nina’s name through the mud again.
Willow will decide there’s somewhere she needs to be, so she may get Michael to drive her.
That could involve a trip to get the DNA test done since Willow is ready to nail down who her birth parents are.
Ruling out any biological relationship to Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) is the first step.
Carly will want to run a DNA test of her own using Nina’s glass and a stolen sample from Willow, so that’ll bring another round of secrets.
Back with Willow, it’s also possible she’ll land at the cemetery and visit her adoptive father since she was just talking about him.
That could lead to Willow and Nina’s shocking encounter since the latter seems poised to visit Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) grave.
Regardless, Nina will cling to Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) as the last piece she has left of Nelle and vow to be in her grandson’s life – no matter what!
Nina doesn’t realize she has another daughter who’s alive and raising Wiley alongside Michael, but the truth about Willow and Nina’s link will blow up down the road.
